'Property was a perfect base for our weekend stay, with only 10 minute walk to the front. It was clean and fresh. On arrival we were met and shown round. There were pleasant little touches such as disposable toothbrushes, cotton buds, shampoo and packets of tissues. So thoughtful to include breakfast items and fresh fruit as well as bottled water and something more alcoholic chilling in the fridge. The internet connection was good.'

'The apartment is spacious and well equipped. Very short walk into town with all of its amenities. Stone bay and its beach below the house. Lots of hot water. The TV aerial appeared to be out of the back of the TV so no terrestrial Television but there was Netflix. No obvious folder with instructions on how to work things or what to do when leaving short of put keys back in lockbox. Fortunately I am a seasoned self catering renter so took away the rubbish etc.'

'We couldn't fly to our annual reunion in Turkey so we decided to visit one couple in East Kent and bring the reunion from Scotland and Northampton to the Arthouse. We had great comms from Sebastian and Adelle from the beginning. Key code given in the morning and found everything as it should have been. The front bedrooms are a wee bit noisy as on the main road but with secondary glazing, a lot cancelled out. We had everything to start our trip off, a few kitchen essentials. Parking is very tight...

'It wasn't easy to find this flat, would have been better with the Actual address rather than The Whitstable Retreat. Outside the entrance porch is unsightly due to dirt and cobwebs. Once in the flat we found it a good size, nice kitchen area and lounge. Small toilet just inside the front door. I'm not sure about the layout of the bedroom and ensuit though. 'I’d definitely recommend the hotel. The keyless entry didn’t initially work, but the communication with the owner was quick and a new code was sent within minutes. The rooms were lovely and there was a good variety of teas and coffees available. I was worried not having check in would mean that the owners weren’t around, but they did help us figure out how to turn the air conditioning off. The location was fantastic and it wasn’t noisy in the rooms. '

'There was no clear indication of how we accessed the property. Despite trying to communicate with the owner, there was no response. We had to just turn up and hope for the best. Luckily, after getting to the pod, the key was there and the stay was good. It has everything you need and is in a great location. '
