'Danu's homestay is the real experience. 5 star service with many smiles. If your looking for an authentic Sri Lankan homestay experience, this is it. Sigiriya is a beautiful little town and Lion Rock is a must do. Get up early to beat the crowds and heat. It opens at 7am. We hired a scooter but Charu the father will drive you if needed. The family are absolutely loving,kind and generous. Make sure you have dinner with them. One of the best meals I've had in Sri Lanka. Now for the suprise...

'We were extremely pleased with our stay at Pura Sanda Villa. We were a party of five adults (mostly women) and two young kids and we stayed for 4 nights. Our hosts were friendly, loving, attentive and respectful.
