'Good location and pool. We booked a junior suite for 4 persons (2 adults and 2 children) but only were provided with 3 beds. No solution suggested by the hotel. We had to sleep with our boy in our bed. Expedia should not offer a suite to 4 persons.'

'They have very limited vegetarian choices, limited to couple sandwiches. No Indian stuff at all and food was terrible, way more expensive than Taj or Sheraton. Not worth it. We just booked it because it's opposite to airport, but I rather have booked other hotels little far to get good eatable vegetarian food.'

'Spent some good time. The room, pool, ground, food and finally the beach view all together I had an excellent experience. Thank you '

'I can’t recommend this place enough to stay before or after a flight from Colombo airport. It’s only a 20 minute drive to the airport but you wouldn’t be able to tell as you really do feel like you’re in a peaceful oasis on this hotel site. The paddy fields surrounding it are beautiful as is the hotel itself. We did some fishing in the river at the back of the property with one of the staff and it was lovely, even if we weren’t good enough to actually catch anything. The staff were brilliant,...

'This was our first stop on arrival in Sri Lanka and it didn’t disappoint. The staff are wonderful, the food was gorgeous and the setting by the lake was idyllic. The rooms are comfortable, clean and have high ceilings and views of the lake. Altogether a great start to our holiday.'

'Such incredible hospitality and kindness from all the staff. The place is a lovely oasis and full of gorgeous little touches. Truly a unique, memorable stay.'

'Very cosy hotel Owned by a very friendly family Great location outside the busy Negombo Good breakfast '

'Mis à part le fait que l'hôtel soit un peu excentré. Le personnel a été charmant, la chambre est spacieuse et bien entretenue. Et le petit plus, est que l'hôtel est à l'intérieur d'un parc.'

'Prachtige grote kamer met uitzicht op zee! Heel behulpzaam personeel.'

'The place is quite the mini paradise getaway. It seems remote on Google but it's not. It's only 12 minutes and $4 AUD to the Negombo Beach restaurants. Kind and attentive resident guesthouse manager Kumara, will help you with absolutely anything you require. I highly recommend here for weary travellers. Only 30 mins from airport.'

'This resort is located next to the river and excellent to relax for a couple of days. Staff is very friendly and the property is well maintained. Would definitely go back!'
