'This was a relaxing get away in an area that we had not experienced before. Loved the creek and fire pit and our visit to Wayah Bald. The hosts were very responsive to our questions. Trimming of the hedges left and right of the drive might aid exiting the driveway less difficult and a mattress update in the second floor middle bedroom would be nice.'

'This is a wonderful property especially if you have kids. The views are spectacular from every single room and space. We enjoyed the outside fireplace, the dock and all of the amenities. The kitchen was well stocked and everything we needed was provided. I would stay here again and again.'

The internet is as bad as they claim, but it was nice to disconnect and spend quality time with friends. Great host! While he wasn’t nearby, he answered all of our questions very quickly! 'This place was awesome. Quick response with Host's. There is EVERYTHING you need here. Just bring clothes and toothbrush. Most places SKIMP when it comes to supplying the customers with NICE stuff. Towels/Bed/Kitchen/Laundry ALL nicely supplied. I would recommend this VRBO to anyone! Nice touches as the little dog[fenced]area... Just a well thought of place!!!!'

'We had an incredible stay on Lake Fontana! The house is even better in person than you can imagine. ALL the amenities you could hope for. Renting the pontoon boat was a highlight of the trip. Gaylene makes everything so easy and straightforward. She was so helpful during our stay. Could not recommend this house enough!'

'The reason for 4 stars is because the refrigerator in the kitchen would not make ice. Before the repair man came it was making aboout 10 cubes/12 hours! After he came 0 cubes. The 2 level dock is in terrible condition and had broken glass on the top level. We felt as a family the dock should be replaced with a new one and the house could use an ice machine.'

'This property and view are just amazing! House is very clean and comfortable and roomy and well supplied to meet all your needs. I will say that the road up to the cabin is steep and curving according to us flatlanders that are not accustomed, but we managed pretty well! Communication to the manager was great and any questions or concerns were met immediately! We would reccomend this property and others managed by this person to anyone and we would absolutely return! 'My husband and some friends of ours stayed for a long weekend and greatly enjoyed this home! It was very dog friendly but still very clean unlike some places we have gone to with our dog before. The host Robert was great with communication prior to our stay and posted very helpful check out instructions in his home that made everything very clear. The view was amazing and despite being more remote we had great internet access via WiFi.'

'A wonderful cabin stocked with ametities and anything you'd need to make you feel like you're staying in a home in the mountains, not a churn and burn rental. It's comfortable, with beautiful views and wonderful accommodations. The hosts were attentive and responsive, and I definitely want to return to the cabin. Driveway is a pretty steep tight turn, but you get the hang of it :)'
