'Paid for 5 nights, stayed for 1. Host ignored multiple messages, phone number wouldn’t connect. Pillows and pullout mattress beyond unsanitary. Overpowering odour throughout property. Weirdly, there was attention to detail in some areas. Beautiful setting, well maintained garden, great location. Such wasted potential from an uncaring host. Had to book another accommodation for the remainder of my trip. Wasn’t expecting luxury but at the very least, basic hygiene standards and beds which could be...

'quiet and peaceful, relaxing river side setting'

'Perfect for a bit of peace and relaxation, lovely, modern accommodation (comfortable bed), great little porch out front to sit out and enjoy a glass of wine. Well equipped and Paula, who was very helpful is and on hand next door if you need anything. Great base to explore the surrounding area and supermarkets around five miles away.'

'A lovely base for walking and visiting places around Cambs. Fishing is the main reason people stay here but also provides a nice quiet place to relax. There could be more protection from the invasion of insects. Perhaps fly shields on windows.'
