'Our family spent a week at this property and we cannot say enough good things about it. The house itself was spotlessly clean, the pool and view was amazing and the house, including the kitchen, fully equipped with everything we needed for our stay. There was lots of room for everyone in our group and each bedroom having its own bathroom was a big plus. We didn’t want to leave at the end of our stay and would not hesitate to return again!'

'We hebben een hele fijne week gehad in een comfortabel en sfeervol huis. Royaal verblijf op groot perceel grond, prachtige bosrijke en zeer rustige omgeving. Douro ligt ongeveer 500 meter lager, vanuit huis niet zichtbaar. Van zwembad geen gebruik gemaakt, omdat het een behoorlijk stuk afdalen en klimmen was. Dourovallei is prachtig. Veel moois in de omgeving te zien. Auto is een must.'

'Huis staat op prachtige locatie aan de rivier. Het is wel een steile helling van en naar het strandje. Auto is onmisbaar voor deze locatie. We hebben een leuke tijd gehad, goed geslapen en leuke uitstapjes gemaakt. Huiseigenaar is zeer behulpzaam en reageerde altijd heel snel op onze vragen.'

'⁃ Nous avons adoré notre séjour et l'accueil que nous avons reçu autant de la propriétaire que des voisins. Le pain livré a la porte le matin était délicieux, le panorama est époustouflant, particulièrement de la piscine. Les quelques problèmes de fonctionnement ont été réglé rapidement. L'emplacement tout près du train de la vallée du Douro est un plus autant pour aller plus haut dans la vallée que pour aller a Porto. 'We, family of three, enjoyed our stay very much. Helena and Francisco are very warm and welcoming people. Their son and daughter speak English well. The garden is beautifull with the waterfalls, the little lake and the vinyard. The cottages are well kept and much prettier than the pictures show. The outdoor kitchen with fridge which we shared with one other family was a pleasant surprise. If you are looking for peace and quiet you will love this place.'

'We spent a lovely week at Casa do Vimieiro. We were 2 couples, and the house was spacious comfortable, and clean. Susana responded to queries very promptly. The countryside is beautiful. My only caution is that driving in the area is not for the faint of heart. Also, people with mobility issues should avoid the house as there are many stairs and uneven steps going into the property. Finding the best route to the house is a challenge. The GPS we used took us on a harrowing ride. We later found...

'De woning was mooi, proper en goed uitgerust. De foto's en uitleg waren correct. Deze lag ook rustig gelegen. De woning is wel ongeveer 25 min rijden van het centrum wat voor ons wat ver was aangezien we elke dag naar daar zijn geweest.'

'Hinter dem Einfahrtstor liegt eine schöne erholsame Welt mit großem Pool. Unsere Gastgeber Aminda und Antonio haben uns sehr gut und liebevoll betreut. Ein Highlight ist auch der sehr geräumige Grillbereich beim Pool.'
