    Het ticket naar het paradijs is slechts een klein eindje rijden van Ft. Myers, Florida, Regional Southwest Airport. Bij Apollo on the Beach Condo, unit 403, heb je een eigen, eersteklas balkon op de bovenste verdieping met uitzicht op het zuidwesten. Dit balkon biedt een onbelemmerd uitzicht op het prachtige witte strand aan 3 zijden van Marco Island. Unit 403 is een slaapkamer / badkamer met nieuw gekocht kingsize bed, een gloednieuwe slaapbank, WiFi en twee flatscreens / dvd-tv's. De keuken is volledig uitgerust met roestvrij apparatuur, koelkast, gasfornuis, vaatwasser en magnetron. De inrichting is een vrolijke, bijgewerkte strandlook met recente verf- en decor-updates in oktober 2013. De Sunset Grille, uitgeroepen tot 'beste happy hour' op het eiland, bevindt zich op de begane grond. De Apollo is de enige condo op Marco Beach die wekelijkse verhuur mogelijk maakt met het gemak van een restaurant op het terrein!

    Je vindt uitstekende restaurants in Marco en Goodland, een uniek dichtbijgelegen vissersdorpje. Het Marco Movie Theatre serveert eten terwijl je de nieuwste film bekijkt. Veel restaurants zullen je verse vangst voorbereiden. Rose Marina biedt bootverhuur om te cruisen of te vissen, een gesproken lunch- of dinercruise rond het eiland en Key West-excursies. Voor ontspanning, geniet van de zon met een goed boek of ga beschietingen tijdens het wandelen op het strand. Als je dagelijkse routine oefening omvat, probeer dan de Apollo-oefenruimte, huur een fiets, scooter of golfrunner, putt op een nabijgelegen golfbaan, snorkel of duik, jetskiën of parasailen. Voor minder inspannende activiteiten, bezoek het Immokalee Casino, maak een helikoptervlucht of vliegtuigrit of geniet van de vele eilandwinkels en de Outlet Mall ten noorden van Marco. Natuurliefhebbers moeten Rookery Bay bezoeken en de Everglades verkennen in een luchtboot of een moerasbuggy of ontspannen op een prachtige dubbeldeksboot om de lokale flora en fauna te zien. This is second time we stayed at Apollo for a 4-night staycation. The ocean view is amazing. Easy access to the beach and great amenities. As a Sheller, the south beach location is the most popular spot. We all enjoyed the stay as much as last time. Strongly recommended to couples and small families since it is one-bedroom/one-bath unit that we stayed at.

The place has been renovated reasonably nicely, and it is in a good location on the beach. Unfortunately, the bed was a king mattress on a queen frame, and it was not a good mattress. The sleeper sofa was also uncomfortable to sit on

Nice location. A bit small for 4 people, but very adequate for 2.

Easy to get to the beach. Great view. Covered parking kept the car cool during the day. No oven, which was surprising, so don’t plan on heating up a frozen pizza. Very nice for 2 people, otherwise you need to pull out the sofa bed, which basically takes most of the kitchen and then there is no couch, unless you fold it back up. Very nice area. People were nice and the attached restaurant / bar was extremely convenient. Condo staff were a little laxed when it came to enforcing the pool rules as people had drinks in the pool. Tennis courts were in the shade in the late afternoon, which was also nice. Very clean.

The covered parking was close and handy. The complex was quiet and safe/secure. The Apollo staff were all helpful and friendly, and picking up the keys and dropping them off from the offsite office went smoothly. The umbrella and chairs in the outside closet were appreciated. Other beach toys, etc., were also in the closet. The onsite restaurant and bar were convenient and we enjoyed our meal at the restaurant. Only negatives: We couldn't get the TVs to work properly. (Instructions would have been helpful.) This wasn't a huge deal, as we weren't there to watch TV anyway. Also, some of the frying pans were in pretty rough shape and could be replaced. Only pepper and cinnamon were stocked in the kitchen. (Salt and oil would have been super helpful.) That being said, we would definitely stay here again. It's a really nice condo and was clean and nicely furnished. It's an easy walk to the beautiful beach!
