Love it!
This is our 2nd stay but this time with our relatives visiting from Philiplines, and we all loved it! Cozy and warm vibe. Plenty of room for 8 people. Everyday equipments are available to use. Very close to town and some attractions. Definitely enjoy our stay. Thank you!

Bush setting close to town
We throughly enjoyed our time at Banana Pancakes, in particular the lovely bush around the house and proximity to walking and cycling trails. A lovely place in a great location close to town.

Lovely cottage for family stay, although not really suited to 14 month old who is walking due to verandah. Great for older kids above 2 years. Great size rooms and layout. Location was excellent.

Thanks for your feedback Mandy. The verandah cannot be accessed from the house unless through the locked doors separating the outside. This can keep very small children like your 14 month old from accessing outside the house and going onto the verandah.

Lovely cottage
We are really enjoyed our short stay. Our dog love to playing ball in the garden. Banana Pancake is a comfortable accomdation for family and pet friendly accommodation.

Shady bush getaway close to Margs
Banana Pancakes was really delightful - it felt isolated and like a true getaway being on an acre of bush, but was walking distance to the centre of Margs. My kids had an absolute ball exploring the secret pathways, trampoline and tyre swing, and we enjoyed sitting on the deck. The whole place was really well stocked with everything we needed, both the kitchen and toys, dvds and books in particular. The owners had great communication and check in and out was easy. Thank you - we will be back again for sure ☺️

Cute house close to town
Banana Pancakes is a gorgeous little cottage style home! It had everything we needed including lots of books and toys for the kids. Great location - close enough to the town centre to walk but away from the hustle and bustle. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Wonderful stay in a lovely house!
Nestled into a forest block a nice walk or quick drive from Margaret River town, Banana Pancakes cottage is a flashback to previous times reminding me of my grandparent’s place with a very well equiped kitchen. All the items to keep warm in winter are provided. The gardens provide great bird watching opportunities with easy access to walking or biking tracks around Margaret River. Everything was clean and tidy upon arrival and we enjoyed our stay with four adults.

The perfect winter getaway
We had the best stay at Banana Pancakes! The property has so much charm and character, we felt right at home instantly. It's nestled under the canopy of the trees, with The Secret Garden vibes, but only a stone throw away from the main strip in Margaret River. The kids had the best time exploring the garden, jumping on the trampoline, as well as the roasted marshmallows by the fireplace. It was the perfect location and home to retreat from our busy lives in Perth and explore the surrounds such as the caves, Boranup forest and Hamelin Bay. The kids won't stop talking about our "holiday house". I'm sure we'll back sometime soon! Thank you for having us Jacqui & Martin!

Cosy winter retreat
This lovely cottage was very clean and really comfortable. It's located close to town but is surrounded by trees and greenery, so you feel like you are in the forest looking out from the windows of the property. The fire made the cold, rainy nights cosy and enjoyable. It would be helpful to have more towels, as one per person for 6 nights wasn't enough, particularly as there's no clothes dryer and it's difficult to dry washing in the middle of winter. That would be my only negative. Otherwise Banana Pancakes is great place to stay in Margaret River!

We do provide additional linen and towels for stays longer than a week. We do also have a clothes rack that can be used for drying clothes, and in winter when the heater or fire is going, items can dry this way quite effectively. Thanks again for staying with us. :-)

Lovely location, the property great but the bathroom is in need if some tlc. The garden is out of control and felt our dog would get lost if not kept on a lead.

Thanks for your feedback Jayne. Sorry to hear that you thought your dog would get lost. The property is a 1 acre bush block with fences all around, and we have never heard of a dog getting lost there. We take our dog there often and Sparky loves exploring. Thank you for staying with us.

Not a lot to complain about really, we had a few minor issues and had tried to contact the owners 6 times over 3 days with no response until after we'd vacated the property. I suspect this is a policy of Stayz as this has happened to us before. As I said, small issues and overall we were happy with our stay

We loved our stay at Banana Pancakes, we wished we could have stayed longer. Plenty of space for our 3 teenagers to have their privacy and great communal area big enough for lounging and playing games as a family. Communication from the host was fantastic. If we are in the area again we would love to stay again.

Very comfortable cottage. Loved the fire and well equipped kitchen with awesome oven for family cooking. Location was a lovely walking distance to town but quietly out of the centre. Great for the dog. Martin was super helpful with last minute requests. Would definitely stay again

This home is a little gem! If you're looking for a country getaway, that's right in the town centre, this place is for you! With plenty of room for "hide & seek" with little ones, and a trampoline to boot! Games to play, Pancakes to cook it made it difficult to leave to explore the region. Comfortable beds, bbq, oven/Cooktop, dishwasher, washing machine, linen & towels provided! Great coffee 2 minutes away!

Entering the property is like entering a magical forest with tall trees surrounding the area. There's a lot of room for children and pets to freely run around and explore as it is fenced. The house was very well cleaned and prepared with complete amenities, appliances and more. A hidden gem just less than 5 mins from Margaret River city. Definitely will be staying again in the future!

Great for kids! Outdoors is a wonderland for little bush explorers, my 2yo son had a ball. Cute character home. Excellent location to town (2min drive). Beds comfy, well equipped kitchen. We are booking for the same time next year. Could do with some window screens so they can be opened to let the cooing breeze in over night in the summer months (improve the eco friendlyness of the property).

Give me a home among the gum trees....
It's hard to beat this appealing cottage on a leafy bush block so close to town. This was our second stay and won't be our last - secure yard for our dog and handy to lovely forest walking. I had an incorrect access code (my error entirely!!) but Martin and Jacqui were quick and gracious in their response - they also accommodated our request to extend for an extra night and kindly offered us a late checkout - much appreciated! :)

Great full family holiday
Had a great time with the family and dog. Beautiful exploring through the garden. Kids loved the trampoline and tire swing! Only issue was because the walls were freshly painted, the fumes were very strong. A few scented candles and airing the place out helped though. Overall we had a great time!

Idyllic garden setting close to town. Banana pancakes is a gorgeous character cottage with very spacious rooms. Very well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. No wifi but no issues at all with mobile reception which thankfully was enough to join in and happily celebrate with friends our daughter's elopement over East..covid style via Teams! Absolutely love the banana pancake, it’s a total unwind, a place to rejuvenate and play and enjoy! Very homely, well stocked with games and blankets and everything you need for an easy stay. All main areas and surfaces were clean upon arrival, the kitchen and bathroom spotless, the house is just in need of a bit of a spring clean behind/on top of furniture and rug as a little dusty, but nothing too bad. Great location, close to trail, close to town, very quiet. The garden is a dream! It’s a happy place!

Beautiful little cottage - really nicely decorated and super cosy. Had a fab few days. Maggie dog loved it but had to keep on lead as cattle cross and fence not high enough to contain her. Perfect location between town and beach too!

A place of comfort, and serenity
Banana pancakes is like stepping into the coziness of my grandmother's house but with all of the modern comforts. Surrounded by a beautiful rambling garden, I loved everything about this accommodation and it is centrally located to all that the Margaret River region has to offer. It comes with cozy beds, fluffy towels, a deep bath, a big comfy lounge, and a fireplace. If you feel like cooking, there's a chef's kitchen. stocked with quality pots, pans, and tableware. Equally perfect for a romantic couples holiday or traveling with a group, I highly recommend this place.
