Excellent in the right room
A clean and comfortable room in a tastefully decorated house. I was disappointed by the road noise, so would recommend choosing a room at the rear. Furthermore, Room 1 has the outdoor seating area immediately outside its window creating some noise and a lack of privacy. It was also strange never to set eyes on the owners or to be offered breakfast, particularly as an earlier reviewer had said how much they had enjoyed the breakfast!

Rosewood Guesthouse is a beautiful alternative to hotel accomodation, providing a quiet and beautifully presented room and bathroom in Margaret River. Although we never met the hosts in person, all communication was clear and prompt. Easy parking, lovely gardens and a well-equipped and comfortable room with classic charm. What’s not to love?

Rosewood Guestwood transports you into a time where people stopped to smell the roses! This is just the place if you want to get away from the hustles and bustles of a city life and de-stress. Entering into the property lined with jacaranda trees, you are welcomed by an extremely pretty and well kept garden filled with roses and other flowers. The property is aesthetically decorated and extremely clean. We booked our stay very late and were lucky to nab the last available room. I am told it is the smallest room they have yet, it was well decorated and spotless. Glen and Kerry are wonderful hosts and my husband and I enjoyed our interactions with them. Glen had sent an email before we arrived sharing information about places to eat nearby and advised us to make reservations. And boy, im glad i took his advise, we noticed almost all restaurants in Margaret River were fully booked out during our 4 nights there. We absolutely loved the daily hot breakfast options, it was delicious, wholesome and well presented. Sitting out on the deck and leisurely enjoying our bfast was one of the favorite things during our stay. Also a shout out of thanks for the complimentary bottle of bubbles as we were celebrating our 8th anniversary. We travel ALOT and I cannot recommend Rosewood Guesthouse enough. Its the perfect accommodation aligned with the natural beauty of Margaret River. Well Done Glen and Kerry!

We had the best time from we areived to we left. Glenn & Kerry provided A1 service and helped us out when we couldnt get a taxi (taxi service only started from 4pm) They drove us to our lunch and picked us up again. You’re always greeted with a smile from breakfast till dawn.

Fantastic
Jane and Keith were fantastic hosts. They were very friendly and eager to give recommendations in the area on request at breakfast but also gave complete privacy during our stay - no knocks on our door etc just friendly chats while serving breakfast. The breakfasts exceeded our expectations with great food and great service. Jane's homemade Jams were delicious! The whole place is very homely and clean. We loved the vaulted ceiling in our room and the beautiful view of the garden (room 4). Good sized ensuite. We also made use of (and really enjoyed) the quiet communal areas - large balcony with tables and lots of seating. Perfect for a late arvo card game. as well as the more formal style lounge/dining area. Great to bring back and enjoy a bottle of wine. We also loved Jane's home baked anzac cookies! Perfect place for couples. We'll be recommending this place to many. I recommend even more highly for solo travellers wanting a safe a friendly place with great service and recommendations from hosts who have spent many years in the area.

This was our third stay at this property. This property is one for the discerning guest, Keith and Jane are excellent unobtrusive hosts who are very welcoming and helpful to their guests. The property is well located being no more than ten minutes walk from the centre of Margaret River and its restaurants. The breakfasts are various and of excellent standard. The use of the lounge facility makes this a relaxing place to stay and if the occasion incurs we will certainly stay there again.

Basic accommodation
Good location to base ourselves for a couple of days, close to Margaret River town and wineries. Keith and Jane were lovely and accommodating. Breakfast was basic although delicious and sufficient. The place is cosy but quite outdated. We were staying in one of the rooms on the lower floor and could hear every movement made upstairs and our next door neighbours talking. That was extremely annoying and made it hard to relax/sleep...

We are very disappointed to read this review. Our previous guests have complimented us on our "period style with modern amenities" and that is closer to what we are, sorry if it is not to your liking. It sounds like you had inconsiderate guests above you for which we are sorry, had you mentioned it to us we could have asked them to be more considerate. But we are puzzled by next door neighbours as the room you booked is next to our laundry which is not in use in the evening, and has no room on the other side. When you come to a B&B you need to be aware that there are other people, however our experience is that the vast majority of our guests love the peaceful ambience . Rosewood is not a retreat or self contained chalet and it sound like that would have been your preference.

Margaret River anniversary holiday
Very welcoming and beautiful relaxing Victorian setting with manicured gardens. Served buffet breakfast in antique style dining room - beautiful laid out antique dining table with dinner set and cloth napkins in silver napkin ring holder. Our bedroom was clean and welcoming and our ensuite overlooked the beautiful garden setting and you could shower in privacy whilst enjoying the view. Breakfast consisted of a buffet plus a cooked menu which was different every day and served by our hosts. Guests were made to feel very special all around. Definitely will choose to stay there again if we travel back to the area.

Great breakfast every morning. The hosts Keith & Jane were very hospitable. They would take your brekkie orders the night before. Very comfortable stay! Would stay there again if visiting MR. We used their BBQ pit FOC. Fun experience to BBQ on the front porch.

First B&B experience terrific
Jane and Keith were so welcoming and delightful hosts. Jane proudly shared her home made preserves and other delights at breakfast which were amazing. Both took an interest in their guests and went out of their way to ensure we enjoyed our trip to Margaret River. The location suited us and the room was comfortable, clean, well thought out, and the view from the large window was the lovely green garden. First time B&B, if all hosts are like this we will definitely go this way again.
