Op het terras naast het hotel lees je Gabo in een schommelstoel met een heerlijke koffie, terwijl het leven op de rivier aan je voorbijschuift…'

'Het was een fijne kamer ( junior suite). Bed was niet heel groot, maar beviel verder goed. Koelkast en kluisje aanwezig..badkamer ook netjes. Ontbijt is zoals heel vaak in Colombia. Arepa of toast, ei, fruit vooraf en een vruchtendrank en thee of koffie. Geen variatie in de drankjes of vruchten. Dat was jammer. We hebben er één avond gegeten. Bijzondere gerechten. Niet helemaal onze smaak en aan de dure kant. Mompox zelf is te bekijken in een dag. Wij hebben in tegenstelling tot wat iedereen...

'I imagine it would have been great had I been travelling to Columbia but I was travelling to Santa Cruz Tenerife. Booked it through the app using the correct info to where i was going to but the app thought I might like Columbia instead. Could not get a refund. Oh well that’s life'

'I truly love this place. The location is excellent, the facilities are well maintained, the staff is attentive, and the cleanliness is excellent. Being so close to restaurants and historic landmarks makes it even more convenient. Highly recommended.'

'Mi experiencia en el Hotel San Rafael fue maravillosa. Quiero destacar la amabilidad de Katherine, Mariela y María, quienes hicieron que mi estadía fuera especial desde el primer momento. 'This is the worst hotel experience ever. They said they didn’t have our (prepaid!) reservation, and we should simply pay for a new room in cash. We arrived on the last day of the year with 2 small kids, but the owner was very very rude. He didn’t even do an extra search for our reservation. We ended up leaving. The hotels.com chat function didn’t work for us so unfortunately the hotel did receive our prepaid funds; they get our honest review in return. I sincerly recommend not going to this...
