Bezoek Fisherman Cove op Lake James. Deze nieuwe constructie met alle voorzieningen die u zich kunt wensen in een retraite in Lake James. Leun achterover en begin te ontspannen in dit ruime 3 slaapkamers 2 1/2 bad. Dit huis is geweldig met de enorme familie-stijl keuken en het eiland dat geweldig is om bij te praten met vrienden en familie in een open woonkamer. Geniet van het geweldige uitzicht vanaf het dek of hang gewoon rond in de vuurplaats. Het huis ligt in een doodlopende straat in de buurt van het punt. Het pad loopt 130 treden af langs ons hellende grindpad naar het water vanuit het huis, waar u kunt vissen of zwemmen vanaf de eigen aanlegsteiger in een rustige baai. U kunt uw eigen boot of PWC meenemen om aan de steiger te houden, of u kunt een pontonboot huren bij de plaatselijke jachthaven. Speel enkele van de vele spellen die we hebben, zoals hoefijzers of maïskolven buiten. Speel ping pong, tafelvoetbal of shuffleboard in de kelder, of hang gewoon rond en kijk Direct TV. De gated community heeft een zwembad, een communitypaviljoen met toiletten en vuurplaats en een overdekte community dock. Veel activiteiten en plaatsen om het hele jaar door te verkennen, waaronder Linville Falls, Pisgah National Forest, Hawks Nest en 45 minuten naar Asheville. Fabulous Family Vacation Spot!

This house was immaculate, beautifully decorated, kitchen was stocked with everything needed to prepare meals. The games downstairs were fun for the whole family. Access to the boat dock was perfect for our pontoon boat, and the paddle boards and kayaks were such fun to use. The wagon provided downstairs was handy to carry our coolers to the boat each day. Thankful to have the opportunity to spend our family vacation in this beautiful house on gorgeous Lake James.

Beautiful Property!

The home was very clean and well-equipped, and the internet connection was great! We enjoyed the views of the lake and forest off the back deck, as well as many walks down to the boat dock. The home and surrounding area are lovely, and we will be back often!

Great property -- the pictures don't do it justice. The kitchen is well stocked, the floorplan well thought out & spacious and the path down to the lake is a nice touch as you walk down through the trees. The playroom was a hit with the kids as well.

Great quiet retreat

We loved our stay. It was very spacious, clean, and quiet and we really enjoyed ourselves. Beds are comfortable and rooms are spacious. Kitchen is great and everything was very clean and tidy. Perfect! Thank goodness for the game room downstairs. It rained for most of our stay so we were entertained! We loved it down there. Games in the living room were also great. Thank you for all of them! The access to the lake was a nice, paved trail and the dock made it easy to enjoy! It’s long and windy if you’re not in the best shape, a challenge back to the house but nothing to complain about whatsoever. We saw lots of wildlife: deer, wild turkeys, snapping turtles, and lizards. For us New Yorkers, that was a treat! Fishing off the dock was easy and fun too. Because of the weather we didn’t use the kayaks but they were right there and easy to access. We will be back. This was a great getaway. 5 stars all around!!

Great Vacation Home

The house was just what we were looking for - clean, spacious, and well equipped. The children loved the basement and the games. My step son couldn’t get enough fishing off the dock. We had a great week and hope to come back again.

Lovely Stay!

We were in the area for a family reunion and the home was the perfect place to house additional guests. Waterfront access and lower level game room were enjoyed by all including kayaks, life jackets, corn hole, etc. There was something to do for everyone- swimming, playing games, reading. We found the kitchen to be well equipped and while we didn’t use them there was also a grill and fire pit. Communication with the owner was prompt and easy. We very much enjoyed our stay and would absolutely rent again!

Everything about this house and neighborhood was perfect! Andrew was extremely easy to work with, and the house and property were pristine. Entertaining mountain/lake cabin!

Us 4 adults and 6 kids, 9-15 had some concerns about a 3 bedroom 2.5 bath home but were very happy with it! Beautiful hiking 20-45 minutes away and plenty of activities at the house to entertain both adults and kids. Easy, peaceful experience.

Love Lake James

This was our second year at Lake James staying at Fisherman’s Cove. Our family loves the natural beauty and peacefulness of Lake James. Clean, clear warm lake with mountain views. Rented pontoon boat and tube for a few days, hiked Linnville Falls and Wisemen’s view. Linnville winery is a nice post hiking stop. Fonta Flora Brewery has food trucks and is a nice dinner get away. Fisherman’s Cove is as advertised. Perfect for our family of 7. Owner put in a concrete path from the house to the dock making it much easier of a trek. Quiet, growing neighborhood - would personally love to retire here.

Beautiful House on the Lake

This house is spectacular. Lots of room for our family to get together plus plenty of space for alone time when we wanted it. Clear, deep water at the end of the dock made for great swimming and paddling. Front and back porches means you’ll always have your choice of sun or shade to sit in during the day. I highly recommend the house and we’ll be back.

Great place to take the family

Great house, just as pictured in the listing. I had a few questions for the owner and he was always prompt in replying. The house was very clean. Kids really enjoyed playing in the game room downstairs and going out on the kayak. Caught some smallmouth and largemouth bass off the dock. The walk down to the dock is not bad, though it is a reasonably steep incline back up -- just something to note if anyone in your party is frail or in very poor shape. We enjoyed our stay.

Fun Water Activities, Wish for better view

We enjoyed our stay in this new house. Having a dock and lake toys made for a fun week. We all enjoyed the "basement games" of table tennis, shuffleboard, cornhole and fooseball. The walk up from the house feels long, and we wished we could see more lake from the decks. A larger, smart TV would be appreciated, since the urrent set is a bit hard to view from the the couches.
