'Wow! What a hotel, from the moment we arrived at the hotel to when we left, everything was superb. The staff were very helpful, nothing was too much for them, greeting you at the door and collecting your luggage, parking your car, a hello and a smile from everyone you met. 'What a find in a beautiful area. Short trip off the A1 and absolutely stunning pub with rooms. Rooms were great, comfortable clean and has everything you will need for a good stay. 'Ideally placed in the centre of Knaresborough, we were welcomed warmly. The room was lovely with a generous bathroom attached. Plenty of teabags, coffee and hot chocolate sachets and fresh milk was kept in a small fridge. The chocolate was a nice touch alongside the complementary biscuits. It was very quiet and the breakfast was delicious. We will certainly visit again. '

'Our room was beautifully decorated and very clean. Bed was really comfortable tho pillows were a bit soft for me, but that's a personal preference and I didn't ask for a change.
