'We had a wonderful stay at this lovely cottage. Everything was spotless and beautifully presented, and the heating was already on when we arrived which made it feel instantly welcoming. The host communicated brilliantly throughout and made everything very easy. The cottage had every amenity you could need, with thoughtful touches like coffee, tea, biscuits, milk, and even board games. The location was perfect as well, right next to the pub. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again!'

'We would definalty recommend elsies cottage we had a lovely Xmas break with my family Jane and Rob made sure we had a lovely time and so helpful and we arrived to a lovely welcome basket aswell as fresh bread and a lovely fresh cake 🎂 eggs milk everything you would need. Beautiful setting the cottage was stunning and so clean and inviting. We were a family of 5 adults and a dog plenty of room didn't feel cramped... xx'

'A well presented, well equipped and clean cottage. The owner was very helpful. A good base for exploring the area. Lovely place for eating at Church Minshull, The Badger Inn which also has electric car chargers.'

'Though we enjoyed our holiday at Olive it was a struggle for my wife who is disabled as the bed was particularly low and the stairs are steep. We would also recommend the owner completes the path from the house to the drive as walking over the grass after rain particularly in the dark was unpleasant. It would also be preferable to add a parking space alongside garden gate.'

'Cooks Flat is a great find in Wrexham! Tranquil, peaceful and beautiful walks on the property. What a treat to stay on a private estate and visit the Victorian kitchen and games room. I appreciated the welcome gifts and hospitality from the hosts too. Would definitely stay again next time I’m in the area.'

'We really enjoyed our stay. The lodge was absolutely spotless which was a great asset as we have stayed in things similar before and they have been dusty and unclean. We spoke to the man and the woman and both were lovely. The Little bottle of milk, shampoo, body wash, washing up liquid etc were a wonderful touch. Like other reviews a coffee table would be nice. Only thing I would let others know is the parking is very tight. We nearly came in our VW van and I'm glad we didn't as we wouldn't...

'Lovely little property with beautiful surrounding farms and scenery. Good facilities and a great shower. Kitchen was very well equipped. Second room was far too small for our 15 year old ... would be fine for a toddler. Great location for nearby attraction. If you want to enjoy and sit outside in the garden/gravel drive area you’ll need some furniture. '
