The staff was outstanding, and their service spectacular. It was a very luxurious and relaxing experience. The rooms, landscape, and gardens at the resort were very beautiful. I especially loved all the roses and honeysuckle planted on the property.

Resort was absolutely beautiful, perfect for rest and relaxation. During our stay we only needed to leave the hotel once for an excursion. Food quality is top notch, and service at the hotel is the best we ever experienced. They make sure you are completely taken care of, from the time you arrive at the airport to when you leave. Spa treatments were great too. We would definitely visit again if we come back to Morocco.

Excellent resort family friendly with customer first attitude. Fiona was excellent and attentive to our needs. Hisham and Amin, our butler were always there when we needed them. The mandarin pool villa is beautifully designed and the gardens outside the villa are like your in Paradise. Perfect location for medina and the airport. Highly recommend this place.

My family and I travel a significant amount and the Mandarin by far was one of the best hotels we have stayed in. The staff was the most wonderful staff. From the General manager Marcel to The Managers Fiona and Mounia we have never had such an amazing hospitable experience. They made us feel like we were at home and went above and beyond. Karim and Ousama were our private butlers who were exceptional and attentive to every single detail. I don’t have enough kind words on the experience we had and highly recommend the Mandarin Oriental Hotel to anyone visiting Marrakech. The villas are absolutely gorgeous. Felt like we were in paradise. Thank you to the entire staff for an amazing experience.

Great location for quite vacation. Isolated from Marrakesh but not far within 20 min drive from downtown. Staff are very friendly and respectful ... they make you feel home. When we checked in we were introduced to our assistant his name is oussama he took us on a tour and gave us his mobile number. He answered all our questions and organized everything even after working hours through whatsup. Oussama was very nice he kept advising about things to do in our trip even after we checked out. The hotel facility is clean and Nicky designed. I would definitely stay in same place if I visit Marrakesh again

We stayed in the oriental villa. Beautiful hotel, great spacious room although amenities in the second room are much fewer than the main room, great concierge, our room butler Mohammed was excellent, overall service was outstanding. Room service food was a bit of hit and miss, the hotel is a bit far from the city center so need to bear that in mind because the hotel transport is quite expensive.

As a special birthday treat my daughter and I went to Marrakesh for 3 days of luxury. The room was delightful and comfortable, although I always travel with my own pillow, I really didn't need it as the pillows were sumptous. The spa was amazing and we had fantastic treatments and service, 10+/10 . The main restaurant made a huge effort to please us as veggie and vegan foodies. I would have given full marks for this hotel if it had not been for Ling Ling restaurant. Although as vegetarians our expectations were not high, the veggie food was disappointingly average, a bad case of 'the emperors new clothes'.... but there was something extraordinary about Ling Ling it was that sadly they incorrectly charged us for 3 portions of duck adding £120 to our bill.... check you bills people and they didn't even apologise!! Shame!!

Fabulous room but watch the food
Probably the best hotel suite I’ve stayed in, but having ate in the hotel’s Chinese restaurant and then suffered 17 hours of chronic diarrhea, followed by a call out from a local doctor and a hefty bill, I was unbelievably disappointed that the staff didn’t even ask how I was feeling on check out. Wouldn’t recommend.

An amazing hotel. Will come again for sure!
Villa room option was excellent. Perfect for privacy. The bedroom opening straight into the jacuzzi and pool was fantastic and the villa facilities were excellent with fresh fruit being brought to us every day and free bottled water daily (the mini-bar water is billed however). Hotel went out of their way to meet our needs, providing goats milk on request and even warming it up for us when requested. Pleased. The hotel staff were always very friendly and attentive to our needs. Airport transfer was included. Buggies on-site a nice touch too! There were several minor niggles with our villa (number 68) however such as an outer door lock that wouldn't close properly, no clear instructions on how to use the included Apple TV with their in-house TV system, the room telephone going on the blink, although they did send an engineer round promptly to attend to these issues so full marks for hotel attentiveness to customer needs. Free shuttle service provided into the medina every day at set times using their Mercedes vans although there is the option to book one of their cars (billed separately) at other times to take you around In-house dining and room service dining are both on the relatively expensive side, but to be expected for this standard of hotel, but bear this in mind as the hotel is about 20 minute drive away from the Medina if you intend to eat out. Breakfast was included and well worth waking up for! The fresh orange juice was just amazing!

Perfect Honeymoon Hotel
This was one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. The Rooms were beautiful, the pictures did not do it justice. The staff were so helpful, booking restaurants and recommending places to go. Not only did we feel like we were on the perfect honeymoon, but also like we had VIP treatment. We would go back in a heartbeat! Love Marrakesh, Love Mandarin Oriental!!

Luxury hotel, let down by housekeeping.
The main lake was emptied for maintenance, so we were offered a villa rather than the Royal suite. Housekeeping failed to provide correct number of towels, replace tea bags, coffee mugs/cups, battery for weighing scales, having been asked. The outside area was not well swept. Overall, we were very happy with the facilities at the villa, though the second bedroom was not as good as the Royal suite, in particular the bathroom was less satisfactory.
