We loved the cabin especially for a summer visit since there is no upstairs dining area other than the kitchen island. It's a beautiful well-kept space that we found to be very clean upon arrival. Check-in was super easy. Beds were definitely comfortable; outside patio was a highlight with great seating options; hot tub was a hit and kitchen was well-equipped especially for coffee-lovers (Keurig, full pot options but better yet, French Press and Pour-over options too - bring your own coffee grinder though). Our hosts communication was excellent both in advance as well as throughout the week and their touches throughout the cabin were noticed like outlets with nightlights throughout, labeling on the outlets for easy knowledge of "whats-what", info on the area and Asheville, and plenty of towels and basics provided throughout the cabin. We had 9 of us for a few days as friends joined us and the sleeping/bathroom situation worked well even with that many. Wolf Laurel amenities were as described; one note is that the pool is a bit on the smaller size. The Community Center staff was very helpful with suggestions. There area numerous hikes within Wolf Laurel itself. Don't miss going up to Bald Mountain for sunset! Also the Waterfall Loop Trail was like having a private waterfall hike. The day we went, there was no one else on the trail. Very beautiful and quiet. One final note is that a good portion of the roads to get to hiking (including Bald Mtn) are gravel.
