'It’s a beautiful property, but be aware that it is secluded and that the restaurant menu is quite limited and after a couple of days, we were happy to go elsewhere. The waiting staff was attentive and nice, front desk not as much (maybe the la guard barrier?)'

'We had to make a last minute change to this property from one we had in San Gimignano, and we are delighted that it worked out that way. The property is super relaxing and the staff made our stay memorable. The owner/on-site chef made a fabulous 3 course meal for dinner, plus dessert, and breakfast was simply perfect If you do not have a car and anticipate hiring a taxi, I advise that you set up the taxi in advance and the owners will be happy to provide a number for you. Er is bijna niets anders te doen dan bij dit goede hotel en restaurant. Met name het restaurant heeft een goede kaart met heerlijke gerechten. We hebben er erg goed gegeten.'

'We had a wonderful stopover in Chiusi, a nice little village, 2 hours from Rome. The room was beautiful, spotless clean. The owner recommended a very good restaurant. The car could be parked on the premises. Breakfast was excellent, everything was homemade.'
