'Property is is a beautiful mountain setting. We were greeted warmly and the process was smooth and swift. '

'Room was large and well cleaned, it came with a sticked kitchenette. The hotel has a nice restaurant in site with outdoor seating overlooking the French Broad River. The hotel was like a museum for the original jail with information on display. The room we stayed in had several original features of the old jail.'

'The “renovation” is poor. Curling wallpaper, old dirty looking carpet and dark elevators. The HVAC will keep you awake and everything happening in the hall sounds to be through a megaphone .. startling noisey.'

'We had a wonderful stay here. Bill was so friendly and helpful at check in, an asset to the hotel for sure. Kitchen and room is very nice size!'
