'We had an amazing stay. It had everything we needed for a night. There were board games and plenty of books to keep you entertained. The bathroom was very tidy and clean. The bed was super comfortable. The details of the property added extra comfort too.
We were visiting Stamford so it was an easy 15min drive through countryside.
The owner was super friendly, very communicative and attentive.

'A lovely welcome and everyone during our stay were lovely. We stayed in the outside annexe so can’t comment on more internal rooms. These rooms were clean and well equipped just are ready for a refurb which judging from the rest of the property will be done I am sure. Still very worth a visit the restaurant was amazing '

'A lovely country pub. The landlady was very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Plenty of tea and coffee sachets in the room. The food was exceptional and the breakfast was amazing. Even freshly brewed coffee which you do not get in hotels. We were pleasantly surprised.'

They were lovely and could not have given us a warmer welcome.

My room was very clean, and the bed was so comfortable, and because it’s so peaceful, I had a fabulous nights sleep. Beats noisy large chain hotels any day!!!
Lots of tea / coffee with biscuits provided which was nice as I’ve been to many hotels recently where you get minimal items.
Lots of free parking and directly outside your own room which was brilliant for carrying suitcases...
