De enige vermelding in de historische wijk Corporate Shepherdstown, WV!

Geniet van ons ruime, moderne bakstenen huis met drie slaapkamers terwijl u verblijft in het hart van de oudste stad van West Virginia.

Blijf op een steenworp afstand van lokale restaurants en winkels. Wandel aan de overkant van de straat om het Opera House, het Press Room Restaurant en de Shepherd University te bezoeken.

Buitenactiviteiten, zoals raften, slangen, kajakken, golfen en wandelen zijn allemaal op loopafstand. We zijn slechts een korte rit naar Charles Town Casinos en Antietam Battlefield.

Dit moderne bakstenen huis met twee verdiepingen ligt in de achtertuin van het historische Michael Yeasley House. Onlangs afgewerkte houten vloeren in de openbare ruimtes en de hoofdslaapkamer. Overal verse verf. Tapijt in de voorste slaapkamer. Twee volledige baden met alle voorzieningen: één met een groot bad en de andere met een douche.

Nieuwe bedden, beddengoed en handdoeken. Grote wasruimte met strijkijzer en strijkplank. Keuken is gevuld met kookgerei, borden, bestek en kruiden.

My third stay at this property. We like it because the variety of bed sizes and sleeping areas. Also where it’s proximity to Shepherdstown. Couldn’t be more convenient. The house it really is set up for relaxing and just chilling. Lots of indoor seating set up for long pleasant conversations, and outdoor seating also. The host is wonderful and incredibly skilled at communicating exactly what is needed. Checking out here is a breeze. I’ve never experienced and ease of checking out like at this very nice property.

The C&O bike adventure that got flooded out.

Despite the flooded C&O canal, my visit w 4 other biking friends allowed us to see Shepardstown rather than the C&O canal bike paths. What a great town to visit. And it e VRBO was the PERFECT location and size! It was my 1st time to use VRBO and our hostess Amy was so helpful before we arrived. Love this property!

Good option for exploring the charming town

We enjoyed being in town and an easy walk to shops and restaurants. The house is very large and can accommodate a good size group. Amy is a friendly and helpful host. We found the house to have a bit of an awkward layout and rather dark except for the front bedroom and living area. Our sense is that the kitchen and bathrooms could use updating

The best!

This is one of the best places I’ve ever stayed. Nice, clean home with comfortable beds. Kitchen is stocked, if you want to cook, but I suggest eating at ALL the restaurants on German Street. Amy, the hostess, is a very nice woman and she’s easy to work with. She really goes above and beyond for her guests. For our stay, she contacted me to see when we would arrive. She gave us an earlier check in time. She has this place stocked. If we needed paper towels or toilet paper, she has it. She has extra light bulbs. She has laundry detergent, cleaners, soaps, shampoo and conditioner. I was shocked and thankful. She’s so thoughtful, she has earplugs on the nightstand. Amy and her husband are the BEST hosts a traveler could ask for. Definitely recommend. 5 stars. 10/10. We would/will stay here again.

Great location to visit Shepherdstown

We came back to Shepherdstown to dine and visit the record store. Everything we wanted to do was within a five minute walk. The Press Room across the street is a little gem of a restaurant. The Thai place next door was a delightful surprise. The shrimp pad thai was top notch! The house was well appointed and comfortable. When not out roaming, we were able to relax and recharge.

Wonderful Shepherdstown stay

We stayed here to attend the Contemporary American Theater Festival. The house is very comfortable with lots of room and a well set-up kitchen. Terrific location - walking distance to everything in the center of Shepherdstown and to Shepherd University. Great communication with the owner.

This house is located in the center of town, and walkable to many places, or a short drive away. The owner was helpful before and during our stay. We look forward to returning for another visit soon. This was a great place to stay during the Contemporary American Theater Festival.
