We had a delicious dinner at the hotel resturant, and on top of the tasty dinner with unique dishes of the area, staying at the hotel will earn you a 10 percent discount at the resturant. The river right next to the hotel was a great and fun place to hangout with family and their was a very easy access to it through the hotel. Would definently recomend a stay here.'

'Dit hotel is een belevenis op zich!! Het legt boven op een berg in een oude vesting. Het is hierdoor wat moeilijk bereikbaar met de auto en ik denk ook voor mensen die slecht ter been zijn. Verder moet ik zeggen dat het een prima hotel is met mooie kamers. Zowel het ontbijt als het diner waren heerlijk en uitstekend verzorgd. Het uitzicht vanuit de bar en het restaurant is adembenemend. Erg aardig en behulpzaam personeel.'

'A beautiful hotel in an amazing village. Breakfast was also great with pancakes and scrambled egg included plus the normal pastries, bread, yoghurt, cheese, meat and fruit! We managed to park right outside the hotel (4 spaces) but there is also a public car park in the same area. A walk around the walls and castle of Marvão is thoroughly recommended - marvellous 360 views!'
