'Beds were comfortable, nice size rooms and dining table nice size for us to play games. Sorry about the cut grass being brought into house by us and maintenance guy when he fixed sink in kitchen. He was fast. You can’t sneak around because the squeaky floors give you away but that’s what you expect from an older house in town 😊'

There is a full eat in kitchen that is stocked with essentials. Linens and towels are clean, very soft and comfortable... It is well water, so bring bottled water. My husband liked the shower, but it did release the sulfuric smell... It is a really great value for your money. We were very pleased with our stay.'

The lock on the dirty front door is also not working reliably. The description on the Vrbo listing is rather confusing. Lovely location!'

'It was a great place great location parking was a small issue. Didn’t need to be super clean but the bottom of the fridge and bottom of the garbage cans are very very dirty. Also there was no apron and no aluminum foil or saran wrap I’m not sure maybe we should’ve brought our own. 'I was happy with my stay. The property is an old farm house that's been split into 3 different rentals, and I was in the smallest. It did not have a full kitchen, but I think that's reflected in the price. The setting is peaceful and pretty, and I saw a LOT of deer! I did reach out to the owner in advance to make sure I could bring my pet bird (we were having a new furnace installed and I didn't want her around the fumes), and she responded right away and was very friendly. 'When we first drove up we we were a little surprised by the condition of the outside of the house. The siding is dirty, the paint is peeling, and the bushes are overgrown. However the inside of the house was clean and well appointed. We had a throughly pleasant stay. The check-in and check-out process was effortless and communication with the host was perfect. 'If I can say anything about our stay is that the property manager was extremely quick to respond and jumped on any concerns we may have had. There was a slight hiccup with booking last minute and the cleaning schedule, however it was resolved quickly and efficiently. The house is beautiful and was large enough for the 10 person occupancy. Overall it ended up being a good trip, even if it was due to a funeral.'

'This house has so much character and was a perfect venue for a weekend retreat. We enjoyed the individuality of each bedroom and each space. There are things to explore and look at in every nook and cranny of this place! Communicating with Evolve was a hassle, but communication with the actual host was good once we had his contact information. Also, the location close to downtown Jackson, allowed for a walk down to see the Bright Side murals. We also realized it is not far from the best donut...

'We traveled to Michigan from out of state for a family wedding. With 9 in our group ranging in age from 2 - 80 this was a wonderful place to stay! The little ones were able to be themselves while others were able to relax. You can take a walk since it is located in the country. We were able to have extended family over for coffee and donuts and visit in the large dining area. We stayed for 4 days and it became affectionately referred to as 'Grandma's Farm'!'
