'The house was modern (with an induction stove!), clean, well-appointed and comfortable. Great pool and patio area. The bedrooms were all roomy and had AC split units (but the main living, common areas did not). Coming from Hawaii, we were familiar with tropical environs though Tahiti was hotter and much more humid perhaps because it lacked the trade winds that help cool Hawaii. Interestingly, despite the large presence of mosquitoes and other topical critters, we noticed there were no screens on...

'At first, we wanted to relocate due to the hot condition in our room because this place has no Air condtioning. I believe another fan (two) or a better one will help the issue. We tried to relocate but the owner did point out that the place has no AC, so too late for us to back out. However, it turned out good or we made the best out of it. It does has a beautiful Panaromic view and we enjoyed cooking our breakfast in the morning. We kept out of the room during the day with all the activites we...

'Fortunately, driving instructions were very clear as it involved 1.5 km ascent, last leg on bumpy road, but once we entered the gate, wow! Villa was excellent, pool was great and deck has fabulous views of Pacific & Moorea. as usual, kitchen lacked gourmet equipment, but otherwise all was excellent. Owners were very helpful as well.'

'This location is simply fantastic. The hosts were gracious and provided so many perks (from a stocked fridge to fresh baked goods). The accommodation had all the amenities you will need. It is at the top of a steep and long hill so the pool is a nice respite on hotter days. The views are amazing; the property has bananas and coconuts and an outdoor shower. Very quiet. It is a wonderful place to get away from it all. Highly recommend.'

'This was our second time staying at this property in as many years! It's a great layout, nice big terrace. The owners, Jerôme and Corinne, are wonderful! They are close, so any questions or problems can/will be dealt with immediately. The apartment is close to great beaches, it's quiet and just far enough from the hustle and bustle of Papeete. We'll definitely go back again!'
