'This is a cute little place to have a quiet time away. Very close to the regional park for walks and beach time too. Lots of lovely birds around and cosy and warm inside if heading there in winter.'

'Very clean room. Staff friendly and helpful. Good on site parking. Laundry facilities good. Really nice lady managing the lodge while owners away. Black out curtains would be a good addition as the lights outside the back rooms stay on all night and it can be hard to sleep when they shine through the ranch slider curtains where the beds are situated. 'Black and White Retreat was just perfect for us with all amenities we needed. Clean, comfortable (great, comfy bed). Great location, quiet and only a short, flat walk to the beach and even quicker to the boat ramp. Great outdoor spaces which was wonderful for when the family arrived for a beach day and accommodated 11 of us for a pre dinner drink really easily. Playground just up the road for the grandchildren...perfect. Host Sue is lovely making us feel welcome and very comfortable. Will be...
