'Excellent location with a close walk to the beach and restaurants etc. Room was clean and great value for money. Staff were helpful, brought us a hairdryer when we needed it and breakfast was plentiful! A great little place to stay. '

'The property was very nice and the room was clean. The staff was courteous and the owner was very helpful. The room had no air conditioning and the power went off for about 4 hours in the middle of the night. It was very hot and difficult to sleep. Also the water pressure was barely a trickle making showering almost impossible. '

'Friendly staff, clean rooms, pool with good upkeep and generally tidy grounds. Can't really complain about anything major. Even if it's not exactly 5-star accommodation they are making a good effort to cater to the needs of westerners. The restaurant has plenty of ambience and again the staff is friendly but the service is slow (this is endemic in Zanzibar though) and the breakfast selection is quite basic.
