'Looks like the pics. Not far from the highway and seemed a quick 45 mins drive to Navy Pier and other downtown Chicago fun things to do. We loved the art and aesthetic all over the townhouse. The host was great at communication and even left water bottles and snacks as a super nice touch. The couch is super comfy too. We felt safe where we were and had a lovely stay for a spring break trip.'

'What a lovely little duplex! So clean, stylish and in a fantastic location, only a few minutes to down town with a park just the next street over. We stayed with our 3 young children and really enjoyed the spacious layout. The host had a stroller and a pack n play set up ready for our baby even though I didn’t request them, very thoughtful touch. We had a slight issue with the entry lock upon check in, however the host was incredibly responsive and was able to help us remotely solve the problem....

'It was an overall great experience! My parents home isn’t big enough for us all, so we searched and found the perfect place to host Thanksgiving and to celebrate her 65th birthday. Everyone had a great time. It was great that we all were under the same roof. We will DEFINITELY be renting again!'

'This property was perfect for our Cousins Reunion in nearby Palos Park. The large kitchen was a gathering place, and roomy enough for many walks down memory lane over coffee and snacks. The great weather allowed us to enjoy the backyard patio one evening, although it needs a little spiffing up. The location was close to restaurants but pretty quiet inside. The house was clean and comfortable with ample off street parking. I highly recommend it!'

The kitchen and its appliances were ancient, and the glassware was almost non existent. The host required the entire payment upfront (very unusual), and he was impossible to reach by email or phone until the day before our arrival.
