'A fabulous place with the most friendly and accommodating staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Our guide was the most knowledgeable man who knew the name of every bird and animal we saw. He could spot the smallest bird at the top of a tree whilst driving. He found us our first Leopard - amazing. 'I have been in this lodge 2 days with my sons. I liked the style, the view and the staff. But in particular the surrounding area was amazing small rivers, lakes, wildlife was all there! Lions with cubs, a family of hyenas, antelopes, giraffes, wildebeests, bison… beautiful!'

'We arrived at the Rivernest Boutique Cottages, and were told that they had been overbooked (though we had booked online several months prior) and that we were to be moved. We were sent to a different hotel a few minutes drive away, and given a room. The hotel we were re-booked at was cheaper than Rivernest, and we did not receive a credit or a refund of any kind. We had heard good things about this place, but unfortunately got to experience none of them. Good luck!'
