Pensions in Mayo

'I booked and prepaid for a double room with en-suite. Upon arrival, when they saw I was alone, I was moved to a single room with restroom down the hall and downstairs. I am a 65 y/o woman, traveling alone. I need a bathroom at night. None of the sinks worked, except for the one downstairs powderoom. 'The facilities of this guesthouse are alright, my room was very minimal though. But everything was OK, somethings maybe a little old (like the bed) and the small sink in the bathroom was a little inconvenient but in the end it didn't bother me much. What counts most for this guesthouse is that the owners are lovely people, very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good too. 'Excellent and clean with minimal noise despite the construction. The tub was a little deep compared to the bathroom floor but otherwise it was all amazing. The communal areas were clean and the staff was very helpful in calling cabs and assisting the Uber eats guy with finding me lol. There is a bus stop right down the street that will take you into town. '
