Cleanliness needs an upgrade at the Wild Coast Sun
Wild Coast Sun is a good destination since it caters to the needs of the whole family. Offering is good. Staff is tired. Do not understand cleanliness. Toilets in room always halfdone. We had to clean ourselves to make it comfortable. Plugs falling apary. Wifi never works. Laundry very expensive. They Need a shuttle to water world. I can offer if they provide a contract for the festive. We however cannot find a better offering in the country close to the coast for December. If you do, please text me to assess.

I did not like the rooms. Firstly I. Was given the incorrect room. Upon inquiry I was told that there is nothing that can be done. The rooms are super tiny for a family of 4. There is no room service. The AC was on the fritz. Deeply disappointed with the hotel.

Cleaning staff and porters are amazing, Checkin front line staff are very bad at customer service unfriendly and un helpfull. Not everyone is going for the sole purpose of gambeling some of us jus want to get away and relax. Worst of all is there was no microwave available to sterilise my 7month old infant bottels, my wife and I had to plead and beg other service providers to help us. Wild Coast Sun could not cater to all our needs. We call reception for an iron and was directed to the ironing room on another floor. NO room service, Stay was pathetic and iv stayed in 3 star or 2 star places with better service. Chicos resturant service is apaulling. They give times for breakfast and when we went there in the last hour we almost got turned away.

The place is very clean. Any service you require is done very quickly. Issues are resolved very professionally. The food is very nice.

Stay in general was pleasing. Staff very friendly and welcoming. My daughter enjoyed games, water park and walks in the beach. We were in a twin bed room and both beds were so uncomfortable. When turning you feel mattress springs poking and as result we woke up tired with sore body everyday. 😫

I liked the convenience that all the alternatives food outlet and games for children in-house. Safe and friendly staff. I liked the security checkpoint monitor system. I did not like seeing old people seated outside waiting to gamble in desperation, gambling should be fun and not a have to task.

In general a nice place to stay, right on the beach. Food quality was good but the cleanliness of cutlery was not to Standard. Staff were fine but I think they were too busy to make you feel more welcome. Took a while to get service from a waiter at breakfast.

Decent 2 star hotel, Worst check in ever
The hotel and room is clean and neat. Check in is probably the worst from any hotel in the hospitality industry as it takes over an hour and you have to stand in a line and just wait, no refreshments or any effort from management to speed up the process.

Awesome Family getaway
Comfortable, large room for a family with easy access to the beach, pool, Water Park and onsite gym. We would definitely love to go back there. Everything is so conveniently located in walking distance.

Fantastic Holiday, however the standard of the Hotel needs to improve. You are required to pay R100 per towel as deposit in cash and not allowed to charge it to the room ( I do not carry my wallet when at the swimming pool). There is no shuttle service to the water park, which is disappointing. Shower was Leaking and reported , not fixed up until the day of departure.Check in was a shocker with rooms only available after 4..

We promoting a healthy live , healthy guest hence we are a resort where you free to walk to Water Park , alternatively we have a huge parking for your drive to Water Park. Regards

Not a 4 Star resort - DOWNGRADED
Definately not the Sun International Standard. Infrastructure, facilities and amenities in need of a serious upgrade. The hotel rooms are in need of a serious revamp, carpets, floors, bathroom, furniture, this is not what you pay for... Front line Staff here need a serious customer service 101. Adult dining options are limited, take out options lack variety when compared to other Sun International establishments. There is no proper in room dining. ATM'S are often out of service, or have no cash, a real problem when service providers on site transact with cash only for unknown reasons. Overall, from a quality and service perspective, this is not a 4 Star Hotel/Resort. Despite many other reviews that read similarly, it seems nothing has been done to make any improvements. This needs to be taken up with senior Sun International Management... @ Peter Tshidi

I booked a room with a king size bed due to our 3 year old son accompanying us and he does not yet sleep alone, we were given a room with 2 double beds. This was changed to a room with a king size bed. The new room however was too close to the elevator and noisy. The people in the adjacent room were smoking so much that the smoke entered our room through the interleading door and when we complained i was told the help desk attendee and house keeper had a sinusitis and could not smell. The security that supposed to tell the occupants to stop smoking never arrived. After a further request the room was changed to one with 2 double beds. This hotel is in need of repair and a revamp. I would not recommend this place to anyone on a family holiday. There are lots of unruly intoxicated patrons walking around. The water park is great, however they had a power failure for about 2 hours, no back up and our hotel and car keys were locked in the locker with no access to our keys, clothes or money.

was not happy on arrival i booked two room they were far apart and i waited more than an hour to check in for the second room .I had a challenge with their escalators there were not working..Breakfast was good and the rooms were spotless clean
