'Interesting location, on the former air base of McClellan. Area is well maintained and looks beautiful with the flowers. Room was ok, cleanliness could be better and the facilities are outdated. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was disappointing, scrambled eggs were disgusting, and the rest was very basic.'

'Guest room was in need of upgrade. Sheets were rough, as were the towels. Poor water pressure. Dirty washcloth left from previous guest or cleaner. Restaurant was ok. Waitstaff great. Need more hotel information in the room. At least telling you how to get Restaurant info, possibly menu.'

'Rooms were clean and comfortable. Property was well maintained and had everthging we needed---pool, gym, in-house restaurant for breakfast and dinner with decent food and bar. About 10 minutes to Sutter Park, for ball games. About 5 min to Cal Expo Center. About 10 to downtown Sacramento and about 15 minutes to "Old Town Sacramento"---super fine and nostalgic of cowboy days. Would stay again =)'

'This was a first stay at this Fairfield in about five years. It remains a pretty good low-cost place to stay for a night or two. The breakfast isn't quite as good as we remembered it, and the $10 per day they now charge for parking was off putting. Beyond that, the biggest downside to this location are the frequent freight train horn blasts throughout the night they can nothing about but nevertheless impact the quality of sleep.'

'This was a business trip layover. I have stayed here before and decide must give kudos to the amazing staff. Front desk, Julia at the bar… everyone was amazing. Internet was perfect, food and drinks accessible and I even was granted a late check out. It all felt easy. I was able to conduct my business within a space of calm. Love it here! Perfect for staycations as well.'

'Really close to everything you want to see in a very walkable city. Blocks to the Capital, restaurants, and once you figure out the bus system, it's breeze to get to Fort Sutter and old town. What really would have helped was local info on happenings that were planned and free. Example: 2nd night we stopped at front desk and mentioned we liked live music...oh, they said, that's great! Last night was first Thursday (or what ever) and they have local bands and fireworks outdoors right down the...

'The person who was staying above room 214 was making a bunch of noise and sounded like they were running around the room - It was 2am! Made a complaint and asked if we could get a refund for the night or any other accommodations, but all the was offered was a breakfast voucher and a check out extension is 1pm. This was frustrating and handled poorly in my opinion.'
