'We’ve had an excellent stay, very walkable to Old Town San Diego, good restaurants in the direct area. The pool is a bit small though, San Diego zoo and the SS Midway are very close. The staff is very friendly and very nice and helpful, they give you great tips of the area. We stayed in a room facing away from the freeway, and slept with the windows open, no disturbing noises.'

'Due to hotel being overbooked, we were given a room at the sister hotel. We are grateful for the ease of this but we wish we had been notified in advance as our arrival was after midnight. The front desk attendant was very helpful and made the situation a lot better than it could have been. '

'At 10:15pm we discovered our room had NO HOT WATER… cold ONLY. The girl at front desk had obviously had a long day as her frustration showed.. but thanked us for our patience. However, she left her shift that night never having done anything about our situation. I called again at 11:00 and the next man on duty arranged for us to move rooms. Security came to trade keys but had the room numbers all mixed up. We did finally get to our new room a short while later. The morning clerk was...

'The hotel was great, nice and clean and well maintained. The breakfast was good too. Problem here is twofold. First, the location is extremely noisy being right alongside the Interstate on one side and a major artery on the other. Plus, there are airplanes passing right over. The other problem is parking. Most of the parking is in a cellar beneath the building. If you drive a car much bigger than a subcompact, you're going to have a difficult time.'
