'Not far from the main road and surprisingly close to the town and ski resort, while at the property you feel entirely secluded and away from civilization. The main living and dining area is great for everyone to spend time together with a fire going while the bedrooms are tucked away for good privacy. The wrap around deck would be a great place to lounge in summer, and the fire pit would be similarly nice on summer and fall evenings.'

'This cabin/chalet was the perfect retreat for our family! Every description was spot on! (Even the squirrels) This is a home that you can stay in and rest or quickly get to fun outdoor adventures! The fire pit was the perfect way to end each evening! The living room downstairs was a perfect movie watching area for the kids and made them feel independent but still within earshot of the adults! Plenty of room for the nine of us! We will be back! '

'My whole family just loved this cabin- the area itself is gorgeous and has tons of things to do within 20-30 min drive. And you might not want to venture out when you see the amenities in the basement! Pool table, foosball, air hockey, darts, poker table: my family used it all. We had a blast playing pool together, something we've never done before. The only thing I wish this property had is a dishwasher.'

'Everything was perfect. My 9 grandkids swam three times a day. My kids (their parents) did all the cooking and cleanup, also lifeguarding. Western Maryland was new for all of us. Being from Michigan and the Great Lakes, we stepped out of our comfort zone and loved the Deep Creek Lake area. This house will definitely be in future consideration. '
