'Very nice house with spacious interior. Comfortable furnishings. Walking distance to hiking, biking and restaurants. Large fenced backyard. You can enjoy the view of the Creeper Trail riders and the AT hikers from the front porch.'

'We recently stayed at the parsonage, three generations, and enjoyed it immensely. Everything was exactly as stated in the description. It was clean, comfortable, and easily accessible. The host gave clear directions throughout the whole booking process. We enjoyed a fire by the amazing "babbling brook", and my grandchildren had so much fun playing air hockey in the basement. The house is on the main street (as are almost all of the vacation rentals in town), and after reading reviews, I packed my Loop ear plugs because I’m a light sleeper. 'We enjoyed the quiet and remote features of this private Lansing oasis. Unfortunately while the gas fireplace wasn't working, we were able to run into town and buy wood for the wood burning stove. 'We had a wonderful stay at TrailSide Cottage. It was the perfect fit for our group and close to family in Damascus. We especially enjoyed relaxing outdoors, having dinner on the deck overlooking the river, and sitting by the firepit. We also met the host briefly and he was great!'

The only thing I would suggest would be to provide a few more basics for the future stays. When we got there there was only one roll of toilet paper for two bathrooms.. there was only a quarter roll of paper towels in the kitchen and provided minimal basics for the kitchen.
