'Great space, modern touches in a very central part of the city. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted. The pull out couch was as expected, so may be better with younger children, but overall, very happy with our stay.'

'Clean and well equipped appartment. Space for 3 - 4 adults. Very close to the city and harbour, all in short walking distance. Free parking lots in appr. 5-7 mins walking distance.'

'Zeer vriendelijk personeel bij de receptie, in het restaurant en bij het ontbijt! Schone, ruime kamer met een fijn bed. Op deze zonnige dagen was de kamer (op de bovenste verdieping) wel wat warm. Restaurant en hotelbar waren van goede kwaliteit. Het ontbijt ook en had een ruim assortiment. De spa was ook boven verwachting.'

'Hotel just in center of Reykjavik, comfortable proper rooms. Luxury bathroom. Lots of restaurants on walking distance (5-15 min). Good breakfast. One disadvantage: there is no parking facility. We paid €80 each night in the nearby parking garage (advised / proposed by the hotel reception desk), that's an expensive parking.'

'Simply a great stay, friendly staff, clean and warm look and feel, comfortable room and bed. Great shower, large screen TV. climate control worked flawlessly (quite and no wind turbine feeling). Tried the spa, nothing but good. '

'The property was exactly as advertised and our family of 4 enjoyed our stay. The location was great with it being easy to walk to any of the big tourists spots and there was parking. We reached out to the owners several times and they were amazing! The only item of not is the property is on a Main Street in a city across from a bus stop so there is some road noise but that is to be expected.'

Upon check-in, we got a room in the basement, under the bar and lobby area, which got me worried about potential noise problems. 'After parking in the Kolaport bílahús it was a short 5 minute walk to the hotel while looking at the boats in the harbour. The hotel has a bakery right at the entrance so we had to wait for people to move aside in the queue to walk past and get to the reception. Honestly this is the only remotely negative thing there is to say.
