The place just feels run down and out dated. After we checked in, my husband went to grab our luggage and was greeted at the front doors by a man peeing. We got to the hotel around 9:15 pm and the waterslide closed at 9:30 so my kids didn’t have a chance to waterslide, which is the main reason we booked there. Then, in the morning the waterslide was closed. There’s better places to stay in Medicine Hat, won’t be returning.

We showed up as a family of 6. We have stayed in that motel for years. This time they said only 5 can stay in a room. So we told them at the front desk one kid will sleep in the car. So they let us check. Seriously?? The ac was broke in the room and the heat was stuck on and at midnight they let us switch rooms. The hot tub was permanently closed and the water park looks like a perfect place to get tetanus. I think its time to find a new place to go water sliding. Its very run down. Too bad. Was a fun place to go

The room door kept beeping unless the deadbolt was on. The room temperature was set to hot so the room was unbearable we used the air conditioning full time to make it bearable- but it was never comfortable and non of us slept well. There was a large bug in the tub and an ant on the bathroom counter. The toilet would not flush unless you lifted the flap inside the tank manually. Upon check out I was told nothing could be done because I booked third party. It’s their responsibility to provide the product! AND the breakfast has gone downhill big time!! They keep the ketchup hid! You have to find someone and ASK for it! It’s really minimal! Won’t go back!

This hotel is hugely outdated. The fact there is no hot tub is a massive downfall, the communication between Expedia and the hotel was non-existant (i asked for joined rooms and the hotel had no idea of it, which then ended us in having noise conplaints because everyone then piled in one room. And the breakfast was terrible.

This is nothing like the photos on the website. It’s old, the bathtub area had mold in the silicone, the free breakfast was awful. The beds were comfortable. I’d never stay here again.

The smell of old smoke in the Suite wing is nasty. For a non smoker, I was quite grossed out every time i entered the room. The steam shower was super clean but again, the smell is disgusting when you add hot moisturize to the air. In addition, the free breakfast is night to have but the ‘hot’ side of the options are quite nasty. Simple eggs, bacon would be ideal for the majority
