'Wij verbleven 2 dagen in dit hotel. Het is een traditioneel Japans hotel dus met de futons kan je ook niet heel veel comfort verwachten. Dit is het probleem ook niet hier. Het probleem zit meer in de bedroevende hygiene van de hotelkamer. Ik betwijfel of het uberhaupt wel schoongemaakt wordt... Haren in het putje van de wasbak en een stoflaag op plekken waar het makkelijk weg te halen is. Verder wel een mooie onsen en de locatie is goed.'

'What a fantastic place to stay. Convenient location from the train station And easy acces to snowmonkey parc. The food was amazing And the service level as well. They have an amazing bar on the roof. You sit with -15 in heated plastic iglo tents zipping from your drinks. The onsen Spa is big on the upperfloor overlooking Yudanaka And the mountains. The Room is huge. So wonderful stay And highly recommended.'

'Our stay at Shibu Hotel was a memorable highlight of our trip. The staff were extremely helpful and provided us with boots and umbrellas after we told them we wanted to venture out into the rain to view the monkey park. Our dining experiences were equally as pleasant with the staff greeting us and explaining the menus to us in detail. The area around the hotel was quiet and peaceful as well. On top of that all, the private bath offered was the last relaxing piece of the puzzle we needed....
