Artist's Summer House

Liefhebbers van vintage charme zullen verliefd worden op dit prachtig gerenoveerde witte buitenverblijf.

Het wordt omgeven door bomen die rust en privacy bieden en ligt op slechts een korte wandeling van het strand en de bruisende winkels en cafés van Rosebud.

Plaats
900 meter van Rosebud strand en Jetty, 3 minuten rijden of 15 minuten lopen. Maak lange wandelingen op het strand en breng quality time door met uw familie en vrienden.

11 km naar Mornington Peninsula Hot Springs, 13 minuten rijden naar een wereld van ontspanning

15 km naar Gunnamatta Ocean Beach, 16 minuten rijden naar een van de beste stranden aan de oceaan op het schiereiland

Keuken
Het beschikt over hardhouten vloeren, een keuken in cottage-stijl en roestvrijstalen apparaten. Andere kenmerken zijn zijn Nespresso-apparaat, Samsung 680 liter koelkast met gefilterd water en ijs. De Longhi broodrooster en waterkoker en draagbare Sony Blue tooth FM / luidspreker.

Vanuit de keuken is er een heerlijke buitenruimte waar u kunt genieten van uw ontbijt of 's middags thee onder de sier perenbomen of zitten op de voorgalerij met een drankje in uw hand onder de takken van de berken.

achtererf
Het huisje biedt een volledig omheinde achtertuin met veel ruimte voor kinderen om veilig te spelen en schaduw van de pruimen en abrikozenboom. Er is een tafel voor 8 personen, perfect voor een feestje, zittend onder een zeil van 4 x 4 voor de zomer-BBQ's met de Weber.

De grote slaapkamer heeft een queensize bed met een eigen badkamer en de tweede slaapkamer biedt uitzicht op de tuin met 2 trio-stapelbedden. Gloednieuwe matrassen en beddengoed.

Ensuite gelegen met grote slaapkamer en tweede badkamer onlangs gerenoveerd met een douche / bad beschikbaar om te ontspannen of om kinderen te wassen van het strand.

Buitendouche
Er is een buitendouche waarmee u uw zand en zout water kunt afspoelen voordat u het huis binnengaat.

Familiekamer
De familiekamer heeft een 47 inch Sony-televisie aan de muur naast een Panasonic blue ray / USB-speler. Ga op de lange bank zitten met de zon door de koloniale ramen terwijl je een rustige middag doorbrengt met een boek, wat kaas en lokale wijn. Als je alle technologische dingen wilt vermijden, zijn een piano, gitaar en viool beschikbaar om het huisje met muziek te vullen.

Motorvoertuig en parkeren
Er is een boerderijhek bij het begin van het pand dat u opent en waarmee u uw voertuig binnenrijdt. Er is parkeergelegenheid zowel binnen (sluit het hek achter je) of op straat parkeren.

Relax en geniet
Laat je inspireren door de rust van dit huisje om de drukte van je drukke leven achter je te laten. Een echt prachtige plek om te rusten en de ziel aan te vullen.

The house is beautiful and so welcoming. We enjoyed our stay for 3 nights, finding everything just as we hoped—with easy access to amenities and a spacious fenced backyard perfect for our fur babies. It truly offers a peaceful and private retreat, complete with a charming coffee bar and reliable internet. I had to work one day, and I set up in the dining room, which had a stunning view of the backyard. It was the perfect spot for a race weekend getaway!

A summer charmer!

We loved staying at Kay’s summer house for a long weekend. It was an excellent spot to stay to explore the Mornington Peninsula, with wineries, farms, ocean views and delicious food only a short drive away. Kay was an excellent host who made our stay thoroughly enjoyable.

Fabulous Dog Friendly Home

A cozy, welcoming and dog friendly home that was fantastic for our family. We cannot understate the importance of a totally secure backyard for our dogs, and this home was perfect! We could leave the dogs outside when we were out without worrying about them escaping. Inside, the home is beautifully presented, very clean and the beds were super comfortable! There is no dining table but we managed fine, and enjoyed the DVD collection. The host is friendly and responsive. Will definitely return!

We had a lovely weekend stay at the artist's summer house. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen is really well equipped, there was plenty of yard for our dog and it's well-located for shops, beach and the hot springs. Communications with Kay were easy and efficient. A lovely place overall.

LOVED the Summer House!

We had such a lovely stay here with our two fur babies. Beautifully presented house with everything we needed. Very comfortable for the humans, and big backyard for the dogs to run around. Cute Cosy Beach House

We loved this cute cosy beach house. We had a very enjoyable & relaxing family stay. Super location. The kitchen was perfectly equipped for cooking breakfasts and dinners for our group of six. The backyard was great (loved by all of us especially our dog) and the large outdoor shaded table was also a winner. The communication from Kay made everything so easy as well. Thanks Kay for a lovely week.

Comfortable stay close to shops and beach

Though very clean & comfortable, the house is quite small for a family, with one living area and no proper meals area to enable the family to eat together, unless outside if the weather permits. The facilities are very clean and oozing with personality. WIFi and a smart TV would also benefit the property for when weather is bad. Kay was super helpful in addressing any problems and easily contactable. Great fenced yard for our small dogs.

Anniversary/greek Easter getaway

What a gem of a house. Cute, cosy and everything in between. The kitchen is fully equipped as I made a lamb roast to celebrate our Easter with my family and the outdoor setting was perfect. We then walked to the pier and strolled down the beach. It was a perfect weekend getaway. Thankyou Kay for your efficient communication.

Had a wonderful stay

This was our first get a way since all the lockdowns and we could not have stayed in a better place. Excellent communication with Kay. We even experienced a small earthquake and she txt to see if we were ok. The place was so comfortable. Everything we needed, was there. And it was so clean. The location was superb - very quiet surroundings. And close to the beach and shops. Also we brought our little dog and we could leave her outside, with a peace of mind that she could not escape or go under the house. There was plenty of room in the back yard. All in all we would highly recommend this place and we will be back for another stay

Family getaway

I received such great communication from the beginning of my enquiry right to the end of our stay. Kay provided us with a very cosy home to live in while we explored the beach and surroundings. Fantastic cottage

We had a lovely stay at the cottage and our two dogs absolutely loved the back yard and the walks down to the jetty. Kay was so easy to communicate with and she was thoroughly accommodating in every aspect of the stay. I can’t recommend enough and definitely look forward to staying again.

A little gem of a place, with a good size fenced in garden suitable for small children or pets.

The moment you arrive you start to relax, Kay is amazing to deal with and nothing is too much bother, her communication is really good and she responds very quickly to any questions or requests. We are a family of five and have a dog and ended up taking an additional dog which the owner was very accomodating about. The house is compact but has a warmth and happiness to it and offers relaxation, with plenty of books to read or a piano to play. The property is very clean and during our 8 days not once did I need something that wasn't supplied which is actually a first. We also enjoyed the fact that we were close enough to walk or a short drive to the bars and cafes but far enough away to enjoy the peacefulness. We will definitely return and stay here again and if you are looking for a place with character and charm this would be an excellent option.

Awesome trip away

The house here is lovely and super well stocked. Very clean and welcoming. Quiet street. Beds are comfortable, lots of books and dvds and kitchen facilities. Washer and dryer is very useful. The fridge is massive. The yard is very secure and large which is great if you want to bring your dog. I’d recommend Zarb for coffee, Jukes for fish and chips and Jetty pasta was yum although servings weren’t large. Large playground down near the jetty. The dog beach is a drive but worth it for water dogs.
