Hillside House biedt het beste van het leven in de stad en de buitenwijken, gelegen in een rustige straat aan de rand van de stad Box Hill.

Dit volledig ingerichte huis met 4 slaapkamers biedt een ontspannen en luxueuze omgeving van waaruit u de stad Melbourne kunt verkennen of familie kunt bezoeken / vermaken in de omgeving van Box Hill / Blackburn. Hillside House ligt op vijf minuten lopen van het treinstation van Laburnum of op vijf minuten rijden van de uitstekende restaurants en winkels van Box Hill en is de perfecte vakantiebestemming in de voorsteden. Als u de CBD van Melbourne wilt verkennen, brengt een treinrit van 25 minuten u naar het hart van de stad. Als u liever rijdt, ligt de gratis Eastern Freeway op slechts vijf minuten rijden en biedt toegang tot de CBD in 20 minuten.

Als u thuis blijft, bieden gratis wifi en flatscreen-tv's entertainment. Er is ook een grote achtertuin voor kinderen om veilig te spelen. Het rustige winkeldorp naast het treinstation van Laburnum biedt een café en restaurants, een kapsalon, een flessenwinkel en een fruitwinkel.

Very nice quiet area, clean tidy, comfortable, a good supply of necessities ( toilet paper, bed linen etc) plenty of cooking utensils, crockery &cutlery, fridge was switched on & cold ready for us to use. One thing I can suggest is putting in some hand towels for the bathrooms, otherwise no complaints. Also someone came to cut lawn on the verge which is not very well covered & lots of dust & small stones etc were being flicked around and we had a hire car parked in the front which could have been damaged and we would have possibly been charged for this.

Owner is extremely responsive and helpful. Bedrooms are tastefully decorated, beds are comfy. Kitchen is well equiped. Air con is in lounge/dining area and one of the rooms. Would recommend.

Great spot close to trainline. Great house was perfect for our needs for rooms and beds etc.Only downside there was a lot of food left in pantry from previous guests, there were staines on the wall in the second bathroom, broken glassware and not enough plates and bowls for 7 people, a random person going through the bins who advised us they were from the landlord ok but not needed till after we check out and definitely not needed at 10.30pm waking people up, back yard wasn't mowed, a few doors need attention as they dont latch.

This place worked mostly well for our group. Comfy beds .. we’d prefer a top sheet as alternative. Kitchen clean and neat but sufficient crockery and cutlery would be appreciated. Condiments need replenishing.

Great Location

Came down for the Grand Prix with family. Location was perfect. Train station at the end of the street. 30 minutes to the city. Very quiet area, no noise at night, couldn't even here the trains! House had everything we needed. Kitchen had plenty of utensils and beds were super comfy. Would stay again next time in Melbourne.

Catching public transport in and out of the city everyday was nice and convient as train station is literally just down the road. House was tidy and welcoming. It took us a little while to work out where the laundry room was (outside). Having a BBQ out in the back yard might nice for future guests as the outdoor is nice and big enough to enjoy.

Perfect for groups or families

This property was perfect for our family trip to Melbourne. With plenty of room for 3 generations. The location is easily accessible with local shops a short drive away. The house is furnished with everything you need for your stay. Comfortable beds, with plenty of pillows. The bath towels are soft also. We travelled into the city with the train station in walking distance. Tibor is an excellent host and was great answering questions both prior & during the stay. Highly recommend, you won’t be disappointed.
