'Convenient location and clean. Easy checkin with the key available from pub across the road. Had unusual single cup kettle and coffee maker and good selection of teas and coffees. Lights and bathroom tap were on timing sensors and both were a bit annoying particularly the tap when you were trying to fill a jug for the kettle. Bedclothing was a bit tired and there were only 2 fairly flat pillows on a standard size double bed. The thing I really didn’t like though was the musty smell of bedding...

'Really lovely guest house. Very friendly and welcoming owners. Clean and spacious room and traditional, tasty breakfast in the morning. Hope to stay again.'

'The room is big as well as the bathroom. Free parking onsite was a bonus. What I really don’t like is below our window they loaded after a party in the hotel, a van until 2am which made us not being able to sleep. This should not be allowed by the hotel. '

'The caretaker Paul didnt know we were coming and initially was more interested in his amazon parcels, told us the owner books people and dosent tell him (happens all the time) id booked one double and one single with 3 beds on the same floor - I got one double with single beds in the attic and my children the 3 bed a floor below us. The b&b had hostel vibes from the start. There were smashed windows, dirty bathrooms without locks, pubes on the toilet roll and bottles stashed behind the was hand...

'Gelegen vlak bij het historische en commerciële centrum, maar toch in een al erg verloederde buurt. Hotel is erg recent herdaan, maar op een erg goedkope manier. Personeel was zeer vriendelijk.'

'What a joke! The hotel cancelled on me right before we were due to stay because of an apparent leak. I think managed to book a different hotel at twice the price as it was so last minute. Hucknall house has now blocked my phone number and I still am waiting for a refund. '
