'Our experience was all good. The grounds are maintained beautifully. The staff was very courteous and helpful. The room was excellent. The wait staff in the restaurant was excellent. I would definitely go back again'

'The Tree View room that we were put in was very basic. No artwork or decor to make it cozy or aesthetically pleasing. The bathroom mirror is extremely small and hung very low- I couldn't see my face without bending over. There is also no counter space in the bathroom to put your toiletries. With that said, it was clean and the bedding was soft. The price was decent for the close proximity to Mendocino.'

'Very clean older property. Every room has ocean views. Rooms are large and Keurig coffee makers and pods are nice touch. All rooms have a balcony or patio facing the ocean. The rooms are a little dated but a great value for the price for oceanfront.'

'Guys on frontdesk were not very friendly. Just normal. Bathroom and bedroom needs renovation. For tĥis amount it should be better. Location is ok. '

'We went for memorial weekend, had a great time, it was very close to everything. I would only add to be mindful of parking during holiday weekends. If you stay out late, the odds of finding parking there are slim. You may have to park somewhere else and walk back. Not a deal breaker, just a heads up. The walk was actually quick, nice and peaceful.'

'Unfortunately there’s really nowhere to walk. The street is too narrow to walk into the village and there’s no beach access. But the property has stunning views and the cabins are cozy and fully appointed. As long as you don’t mind driving half a mile to town or to other areas, the stay itself is very nice and comfortable.'

'Very nice property! Great location, nice views, very nice room which was very clean especially for a Pet friendly room. They had everything you need in the room. The grounds/gardens are well maintained and pretty. Nicely lit at night. The restaurant/Tavern was excellent; great food, wonderful atmosphere and service. Our server Matt was amazing! The staff was very helpful and friendly. Even our fur babies enjoyed the stay just as much as we did. We will be coming back here for sure!'

'I booked this quite close to my travel plans so I didn't have a lot of reasonably priced options. The good: relatively quiet, relatively inexpensive, felt safe enough, nice front desk person, comfortable beds, walking distance to Glass Beach and some restaurants. The okay: it's an old property, everything is a bit "dated," all the dispensers in the bathroom (for soap, shampoo, etc.) were empty. I'm pretty sure someone was living in a broken down car in the parking lot. It's changing its name to...
