'I was in town for the big car show. I picked the Pendray because I figured my wife would like it, she loved it. The staff was great, and the included tiered breakfast were delicious. The Pendray is an old mansion, and didn’t have air conditioning, so take that into account in the summer. We live in an old house, so that wasn’t really an issue for us.'

'My wife and I come there every few years to celebrate our anniversary. The view of the harbor, Empress, and Parliament buildings is unparalleled. The new walking path to downtown is very nice and provides a good work out to complement the nice vegan food options in the restaurant at Ocean Pointe. The exercise room is very nice. Hot tub is good, maybe a bit noisy from kids in the pool but thats part of being at a public resort.'

'Great location near the Fishermans Wharf. The property is quite old and so is the bed and furniture. Since it a residential house wurh quire some guests we found it a bit noisy. But the host was wonderfull and at this price it was fine to stay a night. We had to leave early for the airport so we couldn’t enjoy breakfast which is served between 8:30 and 9:30, but the house smelled like fresh baked bread!'
