'We were on our annual skiing trip and this place offered the best experience I've had yet when looking for places to stay.'

'Everything was nice and tidy. Nicely decorated. I really like that there was a safe spot to put our rig in the garage. First morning there was neat because we got to see a lake otter. that was cool. It's fun to see all the ginormous squirrels and birds. Nice and close to everything but you're not right in the town of Wausau. We are like 3 minutes from everything we needed. If I ever head that way I'll probably definitely stay there.'

'We had a great stay at this clean, beautiful, comfortable and spacious home. The location was Great! Very well stocked and the host provided lots of nice extras. Walked over to a nearby restaurant for breakfast and in the afternoon made a quick drive to explore Granite Peak. We look forward to coming back in the near future for a longer stay.'

'We loved staying here. My family is from the area. My grandma worked at this place in the 1920’s with the Jeffris’ family. Then she worked here in the 60s for another family. I spent summers at the beach so it was such a blessing to be back here. The place was clean and cozy and had everything I needed for cooking many meals.'

'What a gem of a property! Our stay was simply lovely. We were inundated with snow which made for a very picturesque view out the common space windows. They have thought of everything from plenty of blanket type throws around the home to a full cabinet of spices. We will have to come back to experience the enticing outdoors - but made the most of relaxing in this cozy cabin.'

'I was so impressed with tour stay! I’m so glad we were able to stay here - it really started the year off great. We were left party hats and fun kazoos for New Years and everything we could possibly need was fully stocked! All rules were on little laminated cards and perfectly outlined. 'Stayed here for a ski weekend with friends. Plenty of space and loved the quirky and fun decor. Kitchen had all the gear we needed for our meals. Would stay here again; an Interesting neighborhood to walk around too.'

'Well maintained and clean cabin located off the road on a small peninsula. You wouldn't know you were on a county road. Perfect getaway weekend for my wife, 2 dogs and I. Small no motor lake. 2 small boats and a dock available. We didn't fish but there were plenty jumping. Outside fire pits were nice and convenient. Inside gas fireplace was a favorite for the wife for the cool evenings. With the exception of towels (as advertised) everything we needed was available. Utensils, coffee machine...

'This is our second year staying at this property and we can’t wait for year three! The rental is comfortable, spacious, and clean. It has everything you need for a great stay! We enjoyed a boat ride to see the gorgeous Fall colors. The downstairs area made for a great area for a Packer party. Beds are all comfortable with quality blankets and pillows. Kitchen is well-appointed. Highly recommend!'

'This was my first VRBO rental...and because of this little house, I keep using VRBO for my travels. This house is on the small side. For 3 adults we found the size to be good for a couple of nights. As 3 chunky humans the bathroom door open was a little close to the sink, tight squeeze theough. If you are a larger person, be cautious of the smaller space in that room. We would stay at this house again!'

'The house was beautiful and worked well for our needs as we had come for a family funeral. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the little touches, such as all the light switches marked and the short youtube videos showing how to work the TV. We have stayed in several vrbo's and this is by far the nicest one!'

'This is our 4th year in a row!! Our family came to snowmobile and we had tons of fun even though there wasn't enough snow. We love the comfortable beds, easy check-in, great access to the lake. We are thankful for Dale's kindness to a special request we had and the property manager (new from last year) did an outstanding job! 'We loved this property. We had 5 adults and 2 kids, 7 and 10 years old. One of the adults and the 2 kids hung out at the house while 4 of us hiked many miles of the Ice Age Trail. The kids joined us for a few miles at the Dells of the Eau Claire and then went back to the property to play and hang out. We had a fire in the fire ring, played croquet, and ladder golf. The house was immaculate. Highly recommended!'

'This place is really cool. There's a long driveway that leads to the house that's built on high stilts surrounded by trees. It's really private. Within a very short walk there's small river. There's also a nice firepit with chairs. When we booked this place we were hoping to cross country ski in the area but unfortunately, there was no snow but we still enjoyed the stay simply for it's uniqueness. We plan to come back, maybe during the summer where the small river seems like a nice place to...
