"Onze visie is om een prachtige plek van rust te creëren waar u uw geest kunt ontspannen, uw lichaam kunt verjongen en uw geest kunt herstellen, op slechts een uur rijden van Melbourne CBD.

Honderdvijftig jaar karakter in het volledig gerenoveerde huisje, gelegen in het pittoreske Melcafe, tussen enkele van de meest schilderachtige
platteland.
Geniet van de dichtbij gelegen wonderen zoals het lokale historische stadje Kyneton en Castlemaine, bezoek de kelderdeuren en wijngaarden en de minerale bronnen in de regio of blijf gewoon binnen en kom tot rust of verwen uzelf met een van de Day Spa Services die beschikbaar zijn OP AANVRAAG .

Routebeschrijving:
Haal de Calder Hwy uit Melbourne
(Ga richting Bendigo)

Neem de Kyneton van de oprit af. Sla linksaf en volg de weg tot het einde
Hoofdstraat Kyneton.

Sla rechtsaf naar Mollison Street en volg het einde van de T-weg, rijd over een overpas terug over de snelweg en met veeerven aan de linkerkant. Dit is Redsdale Road. Sla linksaf.

Volg deze weg rond een S-bocht. Passeer Knight Court aan uw rechterkant, de volgende weg aan uw linkerkant is Melcalfe Kyneton Road.

Klok de wegmeter op 16 km, want dit is ongeveer de afstand tot de retraite van het huisje.

U passeert Kyneton Airfield en Green Hill langs de Melcalfe Kyneton Road.

Escape to the Country

Cute cottage with open fire & lovely spa bath. Very rustic which is just the way we like it. Great base for exploring this beautiful part of Victoria. Thank you we loved our 4 night stay here. 💕

Relaxing, delightful and peaceful

We had the most wonderful time at ‘Mancuso’ a rustic farm cottage. It was warm and cosy with the wood fire near the bed. The views from the porch of rolling green hills were mesmerising as were the kangeroos hopping about from hill to hill. Would definitely recommend this place if you need a relaxing peaceful time out!

Lovely, rustic and quaint! Had a wonderful relaxing stay with our puppy who had a ball!! All it needed was a firepit so we could sit out in the cold and watch the blanket of stars :-) but the fire place and spa was just as good. Thank you.

Beautiful country retreat

Gorgeous cottage as described with warm wood fire heater (stacks of wood), plus a split system heater/aircon if needed. Amazing spa bath and I also recommend a in-home massage - Leilani was amazing. Idyllic surrounds, yes you can hear the occasional car go past but not a bother for us. We had breakfasts out in Kyneton and at the local farmers market, and cooked a bbq for dinner. We did bring our dog who had a great time, but we needed to make the gate more secure for her because she easily got onto the road otherwise - be sure to check this yourself if bringing dogs! Recommended :)

A must do! To do nothing or do plenty

If you really need a getaway and switch off from a busy lifestyle, this is it! Basic but very functional, this little retreat cottage, nicely decorated, with stunning views will give you all you need and more. How to really switch off? This has been the perfect answer. Incredible landscapes, Kangaroos, alpacas, cockatoos, rabbits, horses.... yet, close enough to Kyneton, Malmsbury or Castlemaine if you fancy a night out in some good restaurants. Recommend the Cascades if you want to lye down on smooth rocks, and dip your feet in the various water holes. Beautiful spot! Patrick, the owner, has been extremely helpful and very prompt for any question you may have. Don’t think twice! Go for it!

Lovely NYE escape

Lovely escape from the hectic city with nothing around but birds, cows and kangaroos. Small town only a few minutes drive away. Cottage comes with all amenities. Amazing views and beautiful sunsets behind the hills. Only downside is the bed which very uncomfortable as the mattress is too soft, leaning to the middle of the bed. Bed base misses a support leg in the centre. We’d be back if the bed/mattress is replaced. Very pet friendly as the property is fenced off.

Wonderful relaxation & exploration!

Thank you so much for the beautiful stay in your cottage. I'm a sucker for old building with character and this cottage certainly had that. We enjoyed a spa and relaxed by the fire with a short drive the the pub for dinner. The scenery was so beautiful too. Wish we could of stayed longer. Thank you so so much!

Stayed at the cottage with my two dogs- they loved running around the paddocks and lounging on the cottage deck. The cottage is near a road but there was hardly any cars passing through so the it was still nice and quiet and relaxing. Hiking in the nearby Macedon Ranges was amazing. Definitely recommend staying at the cottage.
