There are several restaurants and bars underneath the apartment (but NO noise at night from them) and many more across the road. 'Wonderful place to stay. Lovely. But we picked it hoping it would be an easy one night stay before departing Malta. The taxi driver we had arranged for in advance stood us up and we were really, really lucky to find an alternative way to get to the airport in time. So stay someplace else for your last night on Malta. Otherwise, this place is super!'

'Apartment itself wasn't bad but the stairwell to get to the apartment had a few dead roaches lying around that weren't cleaned up until the 4th day of our stay. Also, there was a problem with water collecting at just upon entering the apartment of the floor which was a slip hazard. The water remained present throughout our stay. While the outside of the building is not very attractive, the apartment itself was surprisingly nice — very clean, tidy, and well equipped.
