Gewoon goed. Mocht er een volgend bezoekje aan Miami Beach erin zitten, dan kiezen wij zeker weer voor Crates at the Gaythering.

I was pleasantly surprised staying in the crates. I have never stayed in a hostel but knew those participar rooms would be a similar experience as staying in one. I think I read on their page they described it as the “anti hostel.” The staff was nice and the simple breakfast included was a nice bonus. It is a popular bar at night so there will be some noise if you go to bed early but the crate rooms I stayed in wasn’t over the bar and they clear out the courtyard after a certain time so it’s not too late when the noise shuts down. Plus they do provide earplugs since the crates are in a shared space with other guests.

Great place to stay on the budget in the heart of Miami Beach. It can get a bit noisy but people are respectful for the most part. Breakfast is great.

It was friendly, clean and gay! The crates were awesome. It’s such a great idea. I like the tv were muted and you had to use head phones to get sound from tv.

The crates are really clean, the beds are comfortable, the hotel/bar/sauna is nice. Of course, it is not intimate with the plywood walls not going going fully up to the ceilings, but I wasn't expecting it to be... I just needed an affordable place to sleep and that was perfect. The room was actually even a bit bigger than what I expected.

Que cela soit clair, c'est un hôtel pour gays. Vous êtes dans une salle de 5 casiers. Chaque casier est spartiate. Il y a 2 douches communes et 1 WC commun pour 5 casiers. Faut accepter de se montrer à poil pour la douche. Point noir : le petit déjeuner est de 9h à 11h mais tous les restos ouvrent à 9h pour le breakfast aussi. C'est comme ça à Miami. Vous êtes au bout du Lincoln Road Mail mais loin de l'Ocean Drive et de la plage.

Ein schönes Hotel mitten am Anfang einer einkaufsstrasse. Personal sehr freundlich. Essen war ok wirst und Käse wären nicht schlecht gewesen zum Frühstück. Aber sonst sehr gut.

O hotel possui quartos limpos, grandes e aconchegantes. O atendimento na recepção é às vezes um pouco demorado, mas não chega a ser algo que tenha nos incomodado.

Whats not to love about an adults only hotel that is catered to gay men? I love the decor, colors of black and red (so sexy and masculine), the quirky gay insiders, and everything about this place!!!!!

EL MEJOR HOTEL DE MIAMI BEACH
El personal del hotel es extremadamente amable, el ambiente es increíble, tienen eventos en el bar todas las noches y la ubicación es inmejorable. La mejor área de SouthBeach Miami al mejor precio.

Very pleasant surprise
A really unique lodging experience catering to gay men. I stayed in one of the "shared" rooms, which have a common area and bathroom, but otherwise are fairly private. The decor is distinct and filled with sassy and erotic overtones. You'd think the Crates was a chain, with personalized soap dispensers and luggage tags among the cool touches, but it's one-of-a-kind. I loved it and will certainly come back the next time I visit Miami Beach.

Thank you Expedia for this awesome deal. Was looking for something last minute to south beach and Expedia once again delivered. I stayed at the gaythering in their crate rooms. It was perfect for me. I had no problem with noise, access to the bathroom etc. Check in was awesome. Russell at the front desk was amazing. The sauna I love, the bar really cool(especially karaoke night), centrally located, nice restaurants in the area(Lincoln road 2 blocks away) and lots of hot boys within walking distance 😈. I will definitely stay at the gaythering again. It’s sooo cool to stay in a gay hotel. Thanks guys

Would recommend
The place was nice but the fact that they have a contract with the parking garage a block-and-a-half away is a little bit inconvenient. Also, one of the employees working there was Moody and had an attitude when I checked in. The employee that helped me check out was phenomenal though so he made up for the first guy. The facility seems nice. I've stayed in better I've stayed in worse but all in all it was a good trip.

My stay in the Crates
The staff at the hotel were great; really friendly and helpful. They provide earplugs as it's a shared dorm, and complimentary access to the spa & sauna on site which is great. The spa wasn't cleaned while I was there though, the soap in the bathroom wasn't refilled after I told them it was empty and the showers aren't really closed off enough from the rest of the bathroom so the whole bathroom is constantly drenched in water. Also the biggest issue for me was that there's no way to turn the lights off completely in the dorm rooms so it's always well lit. Overall I had a fun trip though and I'd stay again :)

Worth every penny. Everything is on brand.
The Gaythering is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at and it's in big part thanks to the super friendly (and cute) staff. The facilities are very well maintained, beautifully decorated and always clean. The decor is on point throughout the hotel and everything is well thought through and on brand. I look forward to staying the there again in the future. I've talked tried both the crates and the regular rooms and recommend them both. Noise isn't an issue at all after midnight.
