Welkom bij "One Big Holiday", de nieuwste toevoeging aan Beachwalk Resort. De gastvrije moderne cottage inrichting en alle gemakken van thuis zorgen ervoor dat uw verblijf perfect tot rust komt.

Het hoofdniveau is het hart van "One Big Holiday", waar de open ruimte iedereen smeekt te verzamelen. Het uitnodigende decor en het ontspannende kleurenschema van de accenten zullen u zeker jaar na jaar terugbrengen! De open woonkamer, met een superfluitsysteem dat is geaccentueerd met charmante kussens, is de plek voor een lange dag op het strand. Het hoogste niveau is compleet met eettafel voor 10, 50 "tv en poeder kamer. Meer buiten denken is waar je wilt zijn, zelfs na het strand? Dit huis heeft een grote beschutte veranda op de gang, deze veranda biedt u een uitgebreide leefruimte met een tweede tafel met 6 zitplaatsen en barkrukken langs de bar met doorgaande ramen naar de keuken (maakt het serveren van de kinderen een briesje) en een doorsnede, perfect om te ontspannen na een dag vol activiteiten. Deze ruimte is ook geschikt voor regenachtige dagen, klop wat snacks op en ga aan tafel zitten om met de familie een kaartspel te spelen.

Terwijl de avond valt en iedereen klaar is om zich terug te trekken in zijn eigen ruimte, kiest u uit de 5 slaapkamers die het beste bij u passen. Alle slaapkamers bieden geborsteld stalen op afstand bedienbare plafondventilatoren voor uw slaapcomfort.

Naast de slaapkamers is het souterrain voorzien van een 3/4 badkamer, een slaapbank en een 50-inch smart-tv met YouTube Live TV, geen kabel. Deze ruimte transformeert perfect van een rec room overdag naar extra slaapruimte bij nacht.

De meegeleverde golfkar (seizoensgebonden) is een leuke en handige manier om rond het resort te cruisen. Neem de golfkar naar de ingang van Beachwalk Resort en loop over de promenade naar de prachtige oever van Lake Michigan. Bekijk de zonsondergang, bouw een zandkasteel of wandel gewoon over de kust en geniet van de schoonheid ervan. De golfkar wordt seizoensgebonden aangeboden, omdat het weer het toelaat voor mensen van 18 jaar of ouder met een geldige rijbewijs.

Everyone enjoyed having a golf cart. We spent lots of time using the amenities and ate lots of ice cream. Just wanted to mention the hand rails going upstairs were loose and wished the cushions on the porch furniture had Velcro as the cushions would not stay in place. We love Beachwalk and will be back.

Bedrooms and bathrooms worked out well for our gang of toddlers to grandparents.Not much "green space" around Big Holiday (or any of the units). But we loved the quiet back in this area of the Resort... And so easy to get to Clubhouse, Pool, Lake, etc., either walking or via cart.We loved "staying in", but access is simple to not only Michigan City, but also New Buffalo, Three Oaks, and other fun beach or tourist towns.Only setback of note was Lake Kai being off limits to swimming... But that was no big deal.Just an overall great experience. Felt like we were in our own little world - What a good vacation should feel like!

The noise travels downstairs and is disturbing there. 2. There should be a full length mirror somewhere. 3. Better job of vacuuming in the bedroom with the trundle bed- lots of dust present when pull out the bed. Also in that room- would benefit from more storage space- i.e. shelves or drawers and another flat surface and overhead light- light switches did not turn on the ceiling light 4. Drain in the upstairs bathtub not working well when the bath faucet is on.

We comfortably slept 4 families (10 adults and 4 children) and we loved the screened back porch for hanging out together. The kitchen was well stocked with the items we needed for cooking. The only down side would be how close together the houses were and the parking was pretty tight. We had 5 cars and only two spots at the house, so we had to juggle cars at check in and checkout and taxi each other to the over flow lot. The golf cart came in very handy for getting around the resort.

It was a nice location for a girls weekend with pool and a beach. Clean and updated house with enough from for the eight of us to stay in a girls weekend . The only suggestion would be to increase the pool size.

The community was well equipped to keep them busy (parks,kayaking, basketball, pool - although sadly the pool was closed 2 out of our 6 days due to unmentionable incidents) It's a bit of a trek to the beach, but we rented an additional golf cart for the week which helped! The parking situation is a bit tricky, but it all worked out (do not pull your car into the sanded lot adjacent to the house!one of our guests had to get towed out). Floors in the home were very dirty and there were wifi issues...both of which can be addressed for sure. All in all, One Big Holiday was the ideal setting for a week away! And we are already talking about revisiting next year.

Fantastic family vacation spot

We spent the week at One Big Holiday during our first vacation on Lake Michigan. This house is amazing. It's beautiful and incredibly functional, with all the kitchen tools you could need. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was the most wonderful NYE retreat with my friends. We laughed, cooked, sang songs and bonded like never before. The layout of the home is absolutely perfect for gathering together and enjoying each other. The main floor is a completely open floor plan and there was never a moment that any of us felt left out or secluded because there was enough room for us to always be together. It felt like a home away from home and I would love to recreate the trip again in the future. Amazing value for what you pay also.. Unbeatable experience. <3

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: From the moment we pulled up we were greeted by the friendly staff. It was Thanksgiving and there a was a pie waiting at the house. One Big Holiday was just that! Wonderful floorplan, great decor, and especially welcoming.The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed! We built puzzles at the table, had a fire burning while watching football and of course enjoyed walks to Lake Michigan. Beachwalk never disappoints! We will be back.
