'Warm, friendly welcome by the owner. As it turned out, we were the only visitors staying in the hotel, so had a nice opportunity for a chat over a beer - well stocked with what appeared to be the full range of bottled beers from Purple Moose Brewery of Porthmadog. 'We enjoyed a lovely time at the Metropole hotel in Llandrindod Wells. Our room was quiet, clean and spacious. Staff were helpful and friendly. We had a swim in the Spa pool which was a wonderful experience. We ate in the Brasserie and enjoyed delicious food and service. Breakfast was also delicious and had a good selection of hot and cold food. I would definitely recommend a stay.'
