'We had high hopes for this lodge per the reviews and pics. I almost felt we were in Acapulco or another spring break destination with all the rules and regulations that applied. Don’t get me wrong, enforcing rules is great but come on we felt somewhat uncomfortable and too restricted. We did noticed however there was an extra charge for everything including early check in, water bottles, and even toilet paper. 'Superzimmer, sauber, toll ausgestattet (Küche, Bad, Klimaanlage), für unseren Bedarf mehr als ausreichend. Allerdings war es schwierig zu finden da wir zum ersten Mal in Costa Rica waren und nachts angekommen sind. Der Taxifahrer wusste zu helfen. Gerne wieder.'

'Building was clean and comfortable with a/c in each bedroom. Pool was great. Staff were friendly. Good location. Some minor maintenance things like loose cabinet handles but nothing of consequence. Cookware in the kitchen was mostly functional but needs replacing. FYI - The family suites are not beach front. It’s a 5 minute walk to the other Residencias property that is on the beach. The pictures and listing description are not as explicit as about that as they should be.'

'This place was very clean and had nice quality everything. The food trucks/ other businesses on the property were a nice bonus and had a fun atmosphere. I might have missed it in directions, but it was a little confusing to find. The property includes a hotel, an office building, and these residences. They all share a parking garage so make sure you're reading the signs. A great place to stay!'
