'Villa Matejuska is een leuk klein hotel in het oude centrum van Split. Het ligt net iets buiten de drukte en toch op loopafstand van de oude stad. Prima service en aardige mensen. Bushalte en winkels (supermarkt) op loopafstand. Een aanrader!'

'Small scale apartment building surrounded by residential flats. Easy walking distance from where the airport bus terminates, the historic city center, the long distance bus station and the ferry port. There is a small reception desk, but it's often not staffed. The rooms are fine but basic. Kitchenette, fridge and a washing machine. Air-conditioning is fine. Window blinds are leaking a bit of light in the morning. For the price it's fine and i would stay here again. '

'Great location, just steps from the beach and the promenade, perfect for exploring Makarska on foot. It was really convenient to have a parking spot in the garage, as parking in the area can be tricky. Breakfast was tasty with plenty of options, and everything was well organized. Overall, a very nice and comfortable stay.'

'Wij hebben 10 nachten in Pape verbleven en het erg naar ons zin gehad. We werden hartelijk ontvangen door de vriendelijke gastvrouw Ivana die ons meteen info over de omgeving gaf. Ze gaf ons veel privacy, er is maar 1x schoongemaakt en de handdoeken zijn slechts 2x vervangen maar dat vonden wij juist wel prettig. Het keukentje heeft slechts 2 elektrische pitjes, maar een simpele maaltijd koken was prima te doen. Op het balkon hebben we genoten van de prachtige zonsondergangen en een geweldig...

Highly recommend this option as a great place for Bol an exploring the island. We had a marvelous 10 day holiday to relax, unwind an take in the pleasant views. '

'Excellent communication, loved having keypad access. Great location, right downtown. Can get loud, but when it did we closed the windows. Be ready for bells, but that is just being is Omis. Parking was 5 mins away and great. No other option even at another location. Parking on streets is just so limited. Large apartment #2. Double bathroom was also a huge perk. The best coffee is just at the end of the street. Thank you ivana, really was a nice relaxing stay.'

'What a wonderful and affordable place to stay. We were met by a super nice lady who welcomed in to her home, gave us a welcome drink and told us all about what you should do in Hvar and around the island. The apartment was very nice with a cool lounge right outside. Only 10-15 min walk to the city center and 5 minutes to a supermarket. Would definetely recommend this place.'

'Sehr schöne Anlage, prima Lage und sehr zuvorkommende Gastgeber! Wir durften am Tag der Abreise bis zum Start unserer Fähre das Zimmer nutzen.'

'Very nice and helpful owners. The apartments a very clean and big. The location is nice, you are close to the ocean, to the city centre you have to walk 10 - 20 min, but the walk can be enjoyable in the evening. As makarska has parking problems, it is great that they have a garage, which you can for an extra charge. I would fully recommend the apartments and also come again.'

"Schimmel in de douche, airco-rooster was vestopt. Ik dacht een kamer te hebben geboekt met 3 volwaardige bedden... Eigenlijk was het een tweepersoonskamer met een kampeerbed en slechte matras die er bij werd gezet in de kamer... Ook zijn er nog volop werken bezig tegenover het hotel.Het balkon was ook niet voorzien voor 3 personen. Slechts 2 stoelen en een tafeltje... Waar kan ik mijn foto´s posten. Te duur hotel voor hetgeen ik in return kreeg! Geen 4 sterren-, maar eerder een 3 sterren-hotel."

"It is an amazing hotel. The room was spacious, very clean and tidy. The staff was very polite and helpfull. The location is excellent as it is close to the seaside, the shops, the Palace etc. The breakfast was very lucuriius with plenty of options for every taste. The only down side is the parking. There is pretty much no free parking and if you want to park you car in the hotel parking it costs you €35 per day/night. Overall: very happy with our stay. "
