'A fairly typical motel room in a good location close to town. It has an adjoining cafe for breakfast and lunch.'

'Overnight stay was excellent - we used as a jump off point to Monarto Zoo which is 30 minutes drive. Strathalbyn is a beautiful town. Victoria Hotel is perfectly placed. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Nice bathroom. Comfortable beds. We had our son and booked a room for 3. Often places don't prepare the spare bed but these guys were organised and did prepare the extra bed which was greatly appreciated. Staff were friendly at check in and out.'

'This is the second time staying and it was rather disappointing. Two of the water slides were not in use, which reception did not inform me about at check in. Instead of removing what looked like the leg of a broken fibre glass model of what I assume was an emus leg by the mini golf course it was left there which wad dangerous and not a good look. We were disturbed by maintenance while there wishing to install fly screen at windows, in addition the cabin we stayed at the previous year was still...

'The photos on the listing don’t do the apartment justice. The bed was so comfy as were the recliners in the lounge. It was so close to everything and great coffee across the road. The apartment had everything I needed. Unfortunately the wifi wasn’t able to support streaming Netflix but that would be the only (small) negative. I’ll definitely be back for another stay!'

'Loved the homely touches with the beautiful crockery and furniture around the house. Close to the town centre. Mattress was a little firm for our liking and extra milk for the continental breakfast would have been nice. Otherwise a lovely place to stay! '

'We had a wonderful two night stay at hotel california. We were late to check in, however was seamless for us after hours to speak to staff and get the run down, checked into the room just as the sun was setting over the vineyards. A stunning place to stay, easily located with everything you need within 10 min drive. We hired bikes from SA E Bikes and got them dropped to the property, we rode around the local wineries all day and ended our day back here to do a tasting. '

'Unfortunately there was a lot of water stain on the roof of the cabin we stayed in and you could tell it was pretty old with a terribly patched up hole in the bathroom. The facilities at the park were amazing however and the staff were friendly and very helpful, especially when the key broke off in the door. '

'Absolutely beautiful! The cabin is stunning. So much room inside, gorgeous views. Outside is scenically stunning. So peaceful and quiet. Will most definitely be staying again. The walk up to the cabin is beautiful, inside and outside just stunning!'
