'I hope to stay again!'

'My family had a relaxing, fun weekend at the house. My 20-something children all loved the window seat where they curled up and read. We enjoyed time on the river with the kayaks and paddleboards. The beds were comfy, kitchen well stocked and overall the house is cozy. It was the perfect get-away for our family!'

'We live in North East and had family come stay for the weekend. Rather than having them stay at a hotel, we rented this house for the weekend and were so happy we did. This house was perfect. It was really clean and our family said the beds were really comfortable. Off street parking was great and the house’s location to the shops and restaurants in North East was convenient. We would definitely recommend this home to anyone coming to visit North East.'

'Lark’s Nest was a cute little place! Very clean! The view from the patio was stunning, and if you’re a bird lover you will be in your glory! Bring your binoculars and sit on the deck and wait! House was well equipped with most everything you would need! Host was very quick to write back when asked a question! First time in this area and hopefully be back again in the future!'

'My daughter was graduating from university of Delaware so we rented this place in Wilmington. Pretty easy drive back-and-forth from Newark to Wilmington. The place was clean and comfortable and plenty of room for our five-person family. The kitchen was very nice and easy to use as well. The only issue was no patio furniture in the back deck area.'

Water views were great from so much of the house and owners had thought of every possible touch to make people feel at home. 'Our group of couples + kids enjoyed our getaway to the Eastern Shore. Betterton was a great home base to visit our alma mater, Washington College, in Chestertown. There, we visited the farmers market and waterfront park & playground with the kids. Back in Betterton, the house fit our group well. Plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms and space for each family. 'We were a group of eight, up for a birthday party. We all had a great time! Everyone was impressed with the place and location. The two separate living areas worked well with our group. We especially enjoyed the chalkboard and pool table. We loved every minute of our stay. Jeff is a great host, with great communication. This was a great find! We will definitely look to stay again in the future.'

'Dennis’s property was everything we needed. We had plenty of room for our 14 people. The separate houses were nice to give the infants and their parents a place to retreat to. The older kids loved the great room with the juke box where they could look out for boats. The house was well stocked which made it perfect for preparing our Thanksgiving dinner! Thanks Dennis!!'

'The house is very spacious and is great for a gathering of family and friends. The upstairs bedroom (obviously formerly a den) lacks sufficient lighting and curtains are missing on 3 windows (the room is ground level and faces the driveway / walkway). The lighting throughout the house is insufficient and some overhead light bulbs are burned out. The host was very pleasant and responsive to emails.'

'Waterview cottage is comfortable and very clean. The accommodations look new and we had good sleep. The kitchen has most of the necessary equipment for meal preparation. A baking sheet pan is needed. WiFi and Roku TV was excellent. The primary bedroom bed was so tall/high my wife could not get in or out of it. That necessitated sleeping in the 2 twins.
